Ach he wasn't bad Bobby just an honest mistake from him and his linesman who knows what would have happened if he had given the correct decision.
Do you think he had a good game other than the goal I thought he made some strange decisions for both teams and his assistant on the far side as we watched it on TV got at least two decisions wrong that could have changed the game one for each team

As for people saying Celtic dominated so what goals are the only thing that counts

Was watching the game half cut in a packed pub so my view of the ref would probably be skewed!:D

Though in fairness I thought he was ok.

Interesting stat here comparing Paul Le Guen's tenure as manager of The Rangers to that of Ally McCoist's.

    Paul Le Guen: P26 W15 D5 L6.
    Ally McCoist: P26 W14 D6 L6.

Celtic totally deserved that, they weren't even that impressive but pretty much strolled through that game.

Given the replays of the goal, Aluko's positioning meant that the correct decision was not to declare a goal, Aluko moved towards the goal line to get a better view of the shot and in doing so he blocked the linesman's view. It was a good goal I reckon but the linesman wasn't mistaken in not calling it, he acted by the book as he couldn't be sure.

I reckon the best thing for Rangers at this stage would be to cash in on Jelavic and, if anyone would put in a half decent bid, Davis too. Davis was the most anonymous player on the pitch last night, even McCulloch had a better game than him, Jelavic on form would be tough to lose but I reckon Rangers need the money from his transfer more than they need him, 4 decent players worth £2 million would be far better to Rangers than an £8 million Jelavic who looks disinterested and is not getting any supply.

He tried to change the culture at the club in terms of preparation (diet, training etc) and slobs like Kris Boyd made sure he was hunted. Shame for them he wasn't given a chance.

I'm still not overly confident about the league. It's very early days. The momentum is with us but it was the same last season. No prizes are handed out at new year. But definitely gonna savour yesterday.

Didn't he want to build his team around Charlie Adam and the older heads (Capt Barry Ferguson) in the dressing room were having none of it

Anyone see KeithAFC? I think he's posted missing since I challenged him to a charity bet to see who'd win the SPL as he was so confident Rangers would win.

    Keith... Keith... KEEEEEIIIIIITTTTTTTHHHHHHH??????

Well how are all the sore heads morning bhoys?! Great win for Celtic, it was a decent performance and Celtic probably shaded what was a truly awful game for any neutral watching. I know, I know the weather was largely to blame and spoiled any chance of a decent contest. There was little or no goal mouth action at either end which led to a bit of a boring contest to be honest. Last night was another example of why we need goal line technology, Rangers should have been 1 up and can feel very aggrieved this morning. It would have been difficult for assistant to give the goal, why o why they refuse to bring in technology when it is proven to work is beyond me. The first goal was crucial last night and one goal either way probably would have won game in my opinion as defences were clearly on top. I thought Rogne was outstanding for Celtic considering he has not played often this season by all accounts. He controlled Jelavic very well. Jelavic was poor and clearly is frustrated with life at Rangers, he got no service all night. If you stop Jelavic you stop Rangers as they have very little else to be honest. I think Celtic will stroll to the title now to be honest, unless Rangers sign two or three genuine quality players. Naismith was a shoe in for player of year before he got injured, and Rangers haven't and cant replace him. How do replace him if your skint? There in lies the problem. Smith achieved miracles with this Rangers team over past few years and his absence is starting to be missed by Rangers. You can only punch above your weight for so long. Lenny deserves all the credit in the world for turning Celtic around, if he keeps it going he will win title. His behaviour has improved 100% this season also so this must be acknowledged also. Some of his antics last season were not appropriate to a manager of Celtic football club, so fair play to him.

I thought this was an imposter posting under your name, but faith was restored when I got to the last sentence.

Yup, unreal that he once again has a dig at Lennon for no reason.

Very good performance. The linesman did both teams yesterday but we deserved the win. That was the only chance they had the whole game, they're such a poor team it's unreal.

There was not one player over 26 years old in that Celtic game and of the 13 players the average age I'm told was 22.6 years old. We're building a team for the future. Have virtually no debt while Rangers have to constantly sign dross like Bartley on loan cause they're skint.

The future is indeed NOT orange:D

Aye because Celtic are an outstanding team

Bartley done well last night, Bocanegra is better than any centre back you've got so we hardly continuously sign dross.

I guess he didn't think that Monster Munch were an integral part of a healthy and balanced diet.

Aye because you would be happy if you lot had a perfectly good goal not given. Now you can make excuse all you want about this or that but the bottom line is as fans whether from the biggest team on the world to the smallest we naturally get aggrieved with decisions like those

You've a habit of signing great central defenders. I've often said that we should watch what centre halves you guys are after and swoop for them at the last second.

Yes he did try to change the culture of the players but of he had been at Parkhead the reaction would have been the same as unfortunately it's inherent in Scottish/ British players

Thats why we conned you with Loovens :D

I said it earlier in the week, and i'll say it again

    We're better than yous

Since November 2nd we've won all 27 points we've competed for and improved our goal difference by 15 to +26

In the same period Rangers have won only 10 of 21 points on offer and improved their goal difference by a single goal to +25.

    Damning stats.

There is no comparison between Lenny's behaviour last season and this season. A blind man could see this and the guy deserves great credit for this. I will criticise when appropriate, but I will always give credit when its due.

And on what grounds was it appropriate to make your customary snide remark about Lenny today?

Yeah but look at the difference before then. There's every reason we can turn it around again and start picking up points, all it takes is one slip from Celtic and we'd be back on top.

The only problem is, we need a creator in midfield, because Davis is a mess at the minute.

Because he cant have a go at Samaras

Well I'm sure that's what Ally will be saying to them but there has to be seeds of doubt coursing through the team now. Past form matters it a jot, present form is what gives players confidence and momentum, something which we have in abundance at the moment... but who knows what's around the corner.

I've said it all along, even when we were losing, that I think we have the makings of an excellent side here, we have some very good and young players in Kayal, Wanyama, Ledley, Matthews, Stokes, Hooper, Izzy, Forrest. All of those players would comfortably slot into the EPL, some are good enough for top 6 teams... I just don't see that same quality at Rangers.

Haven't watched a Scottish game in quite a while, but watched the match last night.

It is a pity about the weather conditions, because I think it could have been a fantastic game without the wind and rain.

I was impressed with Kayal and Wanyama in the midfield, and Ki showed some great composure and passing ability on the ball when he came on.

Forrest looks very young, what age is he? He has potential, created some good stuff, but for the amount of ball he got he ended up frustrating me more than anything. Celtic were very wasteful down their left flank at times.

Samaras had a good game for what was expected of him, but he was a bit isolated at times which he could do nothing about.

I don't think the Healy tackle was that bad, or at least as intentional as some would try make out. He had not been on the pitch long, and the pace was hectic, he was just a mile behind the pace. A yellow card is all it was and should have been.

The atmosphere was brilliant from the home fans, it must be amazing playing in front of that.

Lets hope he stays at Celtic for a while before being tempted by the riches of the EPL

The GD is completely irrevelant in this point tbh. If they've lost and drawn more games of course their GD won't have improved. Whereas yours has only improved by 11 with 9 wins. Not something to really shout about
