Same weather conditions for both teams. No excuses ;).

By the way. Paddy Power has Celtic at even money to win tonight, that's a great price.

Evens is the worst price available, plenty have celtic above evens.

Fair play lads, think a draw would have been fair myself. If only the linesman was on the other side we might have had that goal!

We'll be back, its far from over.

If only the linesman had got the Hooper offside right.... if only.... if only....

It's far from over though indeed.

The first decision changes the pattern of the game though mate, that was my point.

Funny, Ally was the one who mentioned the wind.

Maybe so, but that happened so quick that goal would never have been given. Only with freeze frames in HD can you see that it's likely a goal, it has to be clear cut to be given and it was nowhere near that.

Important win for us tonight. Far from over but think we deserved it as we were the better side for much of the game. While the ball was probably over the line how many actually thought it was in real time? You can only give it if your certain. Great turnaround in league for us but we must maintain the form now and not get complacent.

You must have sharp eyesight to see that in real time :). To be fair I thought the ref had a decent game but Healy could have walked for a terrible challenge on Forrest.

Nothing won yet though and looking forward to the rest of the season too :).

Well I must say I'm a happy Celtic fan after tonight's victory over rangers! It has been quite a turnaround in the past 6 weeks and it's amazing to even think Celtic are top of the table going into the new year!

As for the game itself overall I thought Celtic were the deserving winners over the 90 minutes. Wallace's goal early in the 1st half was over the line IMO but in fairness to the officials it was impossible to judge that call. Mind you Hooper was never offside when Collum blew him up in the 2nd half and he straight through on the goal so the ref got a major decision wrong for each team. Mind you saying that I thought he was ok for a ref I don't rate too highly.

While tonight is a night of celebration for victory over our bitter rivals there's still a long way to go in the title race and Celtic must not rest on their laurels now and must move on and continue their winning streak to ensure the league trophy returns to Paradise, hail hail!

Well done - second half performance was night and day from both teams.

Also congratulations on having a wider goal line than the rest of the league.

I actually thought it might have crossed the line watching it the first time round, of course it was definitely over the line.

All I say is, Hooper was onside and Healy should have walked for that tackle imo.

Anyways, great result tonight but we've only won the battle. Long way to go in this league but you can't help but be delighted in the turnaround, didn't see it coming.

    Well done Celtic, hail hail...

    Great win tonight.

Really though, it's not the winning, it's the taking apart that counts :)

Great result & performance by the Bhoys, Rangers may have been unlucky with the Wallace 'goal' but truth been told we controled the game from start to finish.

This game doesn't win any trophies but I am looking forward to seeing how Ally copes with the pressure over the next few weeks.

Seriously? I thought we dominated you for most of the 90 minutes.

How was the ref bad BBE?

Andy Gray on talksport at 10.00 should be interesting as he was giving it large about the Gers yesterday.

Ach he wasn't bad Bobby just an honest mistake from him and his linesman who knows what would have happened if he had given the correct decision.
Do you think he had a good game other than the goal I thought he made some strange decisions for both teams and his assistant on the far side as we watched it on TV got at least two decisions wrong that could have changed the game one for each team

As for people saying Celtic dominated so what goals are the only thing that counts

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,335 ✭✭✭Tiocfaidh Armani

Very good performance. The linesman did both teams yesterday but we deserved the win. That was the only chance they had the whole game, they're such a poor team it's unreal.

There was not one player over 26 years old in that Celtic game and of the 13 players the average age I'm told was 22.6 years old. We're building a team for the future. Have virtually no debt while Rangers have to constantly sign dross like Bartley on loan cause they're skint.

The future is indeed NOT orange:D
