Hah! Sounds cool. I've never tried making anything free standing or three dimensional. Must give it a go sometime. Definitely stick up a pic

I need a big project to get me through the winter months. Really contemplating doing the Sonic 1 logo. Would take forever, but feck it, it'd be worth it!

Ah, yes one of the terrible boss battles in MGS4, disregarding all the gameplay up to that point to shove you into a terrible fighting game, a bit like the even worse final boss.

Started Enslaved last night, supposedly the most underrated game of last year. Well it isn't. The reviews were perfectly fair to it. It's a decent game but not a great one. There's feck all depth to the combat and the platforming is really on the rails. It can be a great looking game but I don't like the garish green hue throughout. I'm only a short way in and while the acting is very good I'm not so sure about the story in particular the characters. Trip is sweet and innocent and has massive saucer eyes to manipulate you into liking her and I can only guess something bad will happen to her later to try and pull the emotional heartstrings (no spoilers please, I'm not far into it).

As the most under rated game of 2010, it's no Nier. I'm also still not happy that these guys are making DMC considering how bad the combat is in this and their last game heavenly sword.

I didn't like enslaved at all. I found trip to be extremely unlikeable. Pigsy was great though. Also having to upgrade your character so you can dodge roll properly is bull. It was very pretty though. The environments were the best thing about the game.

Unfortunately nobody has gone super Saiyan yet.

I enjoyed it a lot. But there's not a huge amount to it and it's pretty short.

If I remember correctly I wasn't crazy about it's equivalent of the flying nimbus from the book. Combat can get pretty intense towards the end though.

Some of the best acting I've ever seen in a game and Alex Garland did the script as well.

Think it's definitely worth picking up now though as it can be got for less than a tenner.

So far it's been very shallow but fun and solid and definitely worth the price I paid. It's just not the hidden classic some people make it out to be.

It doesn't need to be a classic - it's simply a well presented, well acted and thoroughly enjoyable little game. It's the same school of thought as Uncharted. What I most appreciated was how they added more drama and twists to the usual chasing & climbing gameplay style. Predefined? Definitey. But some great setpieces.

You should probably quit before the last cutscene though. Christ.

Atlus USA's next game to be announced soon. Begins with a G apparently.

Some people think it's Growlanser, however Atlus have been trolling growlanser fans for years with cancelled translations.

Could just be Persona 4: the Golden.

The game ends in an R. Atlus are such dicks to Growlanser fans. It's probably going to be Gungnir on PSP (which I've no problem with!).

Also you can sign petitions to get Metal Gear Rising Revengeance cancelled. Sometimes being a gamer is embarassing.

Hmm, just reread my posts and I'm really negative towards it. Perhaps I should add that despite my grievances I'm enjoying it!

I did hear the ending was crap. I'm really curious to find out why now
