    I finally gave in and rang them there..... according to Leanne, "it will probably be Monday or Tuesday before we get back to you. We are still waiting to hear back, as the process is still ongoing. So hopefully Monday or Tuesday"

    So really it could be Wednesday..... or Thursday....... or Friday...?! I just want to know at this stage..... no matter what the answer is!!

    There loss bob, New to the boards and this is my first post. I too was turned down on Tuesday. Got an excusse that my team work wasn't strong enough. Anyways i am in the communications and security industry and wish everyone who got offered a position the very best in their career.

    Well that's exactly what she said (call lasted a total of 25 seconds!) so it could either be that they are still interviewing or simply that the process of deciding who is getting in is still going on. I've given up second guessing them because they don't even seem to know themselves what's going on.

    Hey!!! Im still waiting too..it sucks, also locked myself out of this account and had to get back in...Look at it this way, at least we know theres no calls tomorrow or sunday, so u can enjoy the weekend!!! Ill be back on Monday, freaking out, make sure and post as soon as you know Smudge, as will I!!! :D :P all the best!!!

    Hey,

    I followed this for a while back in the day (before i got the PFA :). However still kept an interest in who got through etc. I have to say that it must be the most unorganised recruitment process I have ever seen. They can use the excuse that there was so many people involved, but that doesn't cut it if you ask me. Eircom paid a company (quiet well i presume) to never hit a deadline in when they were meant to get back to people, and by the sounds of it were all over the place going towards the end. Bad thing is that this also carried on into the actual interview stage, which doesn't bode well for Eircom. Surely something of this scale would be planned out to the exact point before hand and then roled out, well that's what you would expect anyway. In ireland there is a mist that we don't expect things to be run 100% correct and to point, but that's how we get in messes like this.

    Rant over, but surely a lot of people agree that it was very very poorly run,, and rolled out. Maybe if they do a future drive that a different company can be hired to roll it out, and people who travel for interviews, assessments and take the time to submit tests would get the treatment they deserve!

    I got woke at 9am by an 016... number, my heart stopped till I answered and it was my insurance broker telling me my premium was reduced! First time i was angry at saving money :D

    Nothing yet, seemed to be a lot more activity from people left in the final interview stage a week or so ago.. so either people have got it or not got it and are not bothered posting.. I dunno what is going on tbh

    Yeah, I dont know what to make of it all!! It's just going on and on, It's three weeks since my final interview, what about yourself??

    Yea I rang them Friday and they said hopefully today or tomorrow!! Mark I think we were in the same assessment centre, there was a Mark Murphy in it anyway. I'd love to know if many from that day got through.
