honestly id feel all the hard work iv put in over the past few years stands for nothing if i dont get offered an opportunity with eircom

i will be seriously considering heading to aus if i dont make it, cause at the minute here in ireland i feel my confidence is been chipped away at day by day while im not working,

Just that i did a good interview and that but i just lacked experience and couldnt give the answers they wanted when they asked me questions on problems i encountered and how i solved them and so on..

She advised me to apply again next year but i doubt i will to be honest!

jesus i thought they DIDNT want people with much experience so as to train them up themselves and have a less likely chance at bailing at the first oportunity of a better offer

    i dunno:confused:

I find it funny how eircom can take on staff when they are the most likely company in the world to default. Oh well, good luck to the lads who got through. They are gonna need it.

Same here!! Unless they meant that person had no experience dealing with customers and therefore wasn't able to answer the questions. Just a guess though. I'd have a lot of experience in customer service but none whatsoever in Telecoms. I really want this job but I feel bad for those with more experience than me that have been knocked out.

How are they likely to default they are a profitable company who are easily managing their debt,
Also they own all the telecommunications infrastructure in Ireland so they wont be alllowed by the government to default
