Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Yes, it would severely lower my opinion of them. I don't care what other people think of them, to me anyone that uses prostitutes has serious problems, it's pathetic.

    Big difference between using an escort service, kerb crawling and even the lower than low scum who pretty much imprison girls in scummy brothels. A mate with money to burn who wants or feels the need to pay for an escort, as long as he's single I wouldnt care. Anything else and I reserve the right to be judgemental

    I'd have a problem with it to be honest. The women are most likely sex slaves Eastern European or African. Passports taken away and sold from one scumbag to the next.

    The problem is that where buying sex is legal, demand for it goes up. And since many men like to refuse to wear condoms, ask prostitutes to do horrible dehumanizing things that they wouldn't normally ask of someone they cared for, and buy sex from underage people, that includes rising demand for buying sex illegally. It enables some people to think of other people as things (e.g. body parts such as a "gash"), and not people. Encouraging dehumanization makes things worse, not better.

    So as for me, yes, I'd care.

    To be honest i've often heard lads refer to women in general like that so it isnt something limited to prostitutes. Some guys are just assholes when it comes to women.

    At the moment it's hell for many of these women (slaves) because the act of paying for sex is outlawed pushing it underground. Much like outlawing drugs which hasn't worked outlawing prostitution hasn't worked either. How many documentaries do we need to see of these women/men tricked into believing they would have a new job and life elsewhere only to arrive and have their passports taken away, drugged up and used as sex slaves.

    If it were legal then at least the women could pick and choose who they slept with and be provided with proper protection. It may not be a perfect solution but it would be better than the current setup.
