I used to like Tag matches as well. They've destoyed the reputation teams like LOD, Hart Foundation, etc spent years building for the Tag titles.... oh well :rolleyes:

Tbh, SummerSlam is looking like this so far:

Punk/Cena (WWE title) : Mysterio costs Cena the title and turns heel?

Orton/Christian (world Heavyweight title)

Kelly/Eve (Diva's title)

Mark Henry vs Sheamus

Wow, take away Cena/Punk and this is potentially a seriously weak card, especially for 1 of the big 4 PPV's

Would love that, Punk n Cena trading blows with 2 counts all round then punk hits the finisher and goes for the win, HHH does a 2 count then just stops with the hand ready to go down for the three count.

Punk gets up, argues with HHH, Cena arises then hits his, HHH does a quick 2 count and Punk kicks out then goes off on Cena. Match ends up with Punk decimating Cena with medics coming out to stop the match after Cena gets knocked out.

M Punk vs. John Cena is a champion vs. champion match is being advertised for the August 29th RAW from Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is two weeks after SummerSlam. Big Show, who is out with a storyline injury, is also advertised in new listings for the event.

Word is that Randy Orton vs. Christian is also booked for WWE's Night of Champions pay-per-view in September. Should the plan stick, Night of Champions will be the fifth straight WWE pay-per-view that the two have faced each other - Over the Limit (Orton won), Capitol Punishment (Orton won), Money in the Bank (Christian won the title by DQ), the No Holds Barred match at SummerSlam and then whatever match they might have in September.

They'd have to announce Bryan vs Barrett as one option.

Maybe some sort of tag match too. Have someone earn a shot at the tag titles at Summerslam on tonights recording.

Theres two matches to fill it out right there.

It's a too late to be announcing Ziggler vs someone. Could have done that last night.

Ya, I wonder why we got a fair bit of "SummerSlam" on RAW -
JoMo/Truth; A-Ri/Ziggler? Shouldn't they have been on the PPV? It's so odd that they rushed JoMo back but he's not on SummerSlam.

I wonder what SSlam matches we'll get on SD....

Mysterio must be fúcked with that beat-down by Miz. I've a bad feeling we'll get at least 2 in-ring promos at SSlam.

Although a throw-away match i'd love to see Bryan/Barrett.

Maybe an impromptu-Miz interview and match? ADR/Kofi?

There's plenty of matches they could've announced but they just weren't bothered to put them together on time.

I guess it's not the worst because PPVs sell on maybe the top 3 matches max; but hinge mostly on the main event; two more to seal the deal (eg MITB Punk/Cena with 2 MITB matches).

But it's rare and in poor form for WWE to see half the card as an oversight

I can only imagine how in disarray backstage is. I wonder where the week goes!

While true, it's still good practise to let the viewers know exactly what they're getting by the time the go home Raw comes around.

As I said in the Raw thread I can hear Cole saying bonus attraction match already followed by A-RY vs Ziggler & general disinterest. I thought they should of left Morisson vs Truth & Kofi vs Miz for SummerSlam. Come to think of it wasn't Miz supposed to wrestle a celebrity. I'd of loved to of seen Miz vs Jeremy Piven just so they could acknowledge Summerfest.
