Without meaning to step on anyone's toes, alot of those English books being advertised are rip offs. The classic's i.e Dickens, Austen and Shakespeare etc are all available for £2/€3 in Easons and even cheaper if you buy on amazon.

While I'm at it, any 1st years reading this should hold off on buying books unless you absolutely need them. The library stocks the textbooks for most modules and will normally have text books, by different authors, which cover the same material. On top of that you might not even need the books at all for some modules so hold out before buying everything on the lecturer's list.

Do we not have a module in Calc next year.. or do we not need the book?
( We used it in Arts Math? )

It'd contain second year content but most lecturer's don't use a book for the further calculus type modules. I'd hang onto it until the end of your degree, just useful to have a book that covers a lot of the material from your degree.

Ok, just I'm in CSSE and we've only one Calculus module for the rest of our degree as far as I know, so would it really be worth holding onto?

Ah, I'd keep it for that and then try sell it maybe.

Am looking for the Law nutshells books that cover:
EU Law, Law of Torts, Criminal Law and Evidence. Thanks!

There is no EU Nutshell. I'd recommend the European Union Lawcards series instead though.

I have them all myself but am not sure whether I want to sell them or not! they could still come in use between work this year and then Fe1s and all that jazz!
I'll let you know if I change my mind
