Itsthe ones left behind who suffer most in cases like Amy's, terrible she's dead, but there are tragedise daily, and the amount of garbage on this particular thread displays the general boardsies attitude to real tragedy.

    I count myself in that.

Guys I'm sorry for any trouble I caused on this thread.

I don't do drugs, never will and will never agree that they are ok in anyway.

However if anyone here has taken them, enjoyed the experience and would be ok them fair enough and maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.

    Apologies again.

fair play to you, no need to apologise.:)

to be honest, some of the tripe pointed @ you probably warrants an apology.

    Exactly.

    Heroin yes, not E.

Not necessarily - and if they do, well, ditto from alcohol.

Nobody disputed that, they just argued that drugs aren't necessarily gonna make you wind up like Amy Winehouse.

again , can you back it up:confused:

Even though you're incorrect much of the time, that's your choice and should be respected.

Nobody's saying that at all - and I've no doubt you know it - just that what you're saying is pretty ignorant frankly and they're setting you straight. Lol tbh at you making out people are telling you you're wrong for not doing drugs.

how insulting can one get....fook me, some posters are more equal than others:rolleyes:

No - just stop spouting stuff that you can't back up? You still don't get it do you? .

Bad role model for girls i don't mourn for such people you'd think talent was everything the way people go on.Lynott too another bad example and no doubt they take others to the grave with them.Cop yourselves on.

Jesus who cares really. This woman was a drug abuser. Some poor drug mule more than likely brought in her heroin stuffed up their back passage because said mules family would be killed otherwise. The money she paid for her drugs goes to criminals who are a plague on all society so i couldn't care less if shes gone.
Typical cold and ignorant response from someone unable to put himself in the other person's shoes, totally devoid of empathy.
Also typically ignorant of the fact that all manner of things, gold for example, simple foodstuffs like chocolate, are produced by the poorest of people, often children, for criminals, then wrapped nicely for your pleasure.
    But then, who cares really..

If pigs could fly... (bacon would be more expensive).

I'm not sad to hear the news about Amy Winehouse because she was a talented singer. I'm sad because I heard that somebody died - especially somebody so young. I'd feel the same way if I heard the same about an addict on the street, or a person in a hospital. The difference is, I won't see that addict on Sky News, and so I wouldn't know about it.

For me, and for most people I would imagine, it's not the fact that a person of talent has died, it's the fact that a person we know of has died, that makes it personally tragic.

yes, one E *could* kill you, but under the right circumstances a glass of water or pretty much anything else *could* kill you, but the millions of people taking E's all over the world every day that don't die after taking them do present a pretty convincing argument.

of course one or two people will have an adverse reaction to any drug, but plenty of people are allergic to paracetamol and i'm sure some of those die after accidentally taking that from time to time.

nothing is ever going to be 100% safe, it's all about risk assessment.

I think the fact that most people feel sorry when a talented young person dies isn't that surprising really.

I know 'bad **** happens every day'.

It doesn't mean you have to become uncaring about everything.

Before i give you an answer to your question, do you mean one Ecstasy tablet, or the equivalent amount of MDMA that would normally be present in one tablet.

The answer will vary depending on which one you mean.

She and that other clown Doherty portray a certain image of drugs.HARD drugs.

As adults we can see the true damage done to these people. They are a collective mess.

There are impressionable kids listening to their music and seeing the "rock star" lifestyle as acceptable.Yes,rock bands in the past have had this image but she brought heroin onto the scene.

She and others like her have a lot to answer for and they will leave a trail of devastation in their wake as youngsters copy these muppets in everything they do.

Person from rough background gains fame through immense talent, money comes in fast, said person can't handle it, takes to alcohol/drugs. It eventually gets the better of them and person dies.

The only question is who next ?

    No, you would not.

You must know something about me that I don't, and I don't think you understand people very well. I came home about two months ago and cried ,my heart out after seeing a rat with a broken back being run over while I was trying to figure out how to help it off the road. That was my first personal experience with death for about five years, and it's something that I'll always remember. When I hear on the news that somebody has died in a house fire, or has been killed in a fight, or, whatever makes the news in these sensational times, I think about it and think back to it all the time.

So yes. Yes I would, and I do, feel the same way about any person that I hear about who dies - especially, as I said, when it's somebody so young.

I find it more shocking that it's the lead story on the British news networks considering what else is going on in the world. Says a lot about the planet we live on tbh.

tbh by asking this question you're basically proving that the risk of death from taking an e depends on the content of the tablet which nobody ever really knows unless they have it tested. MDMA in itself is pretty harmless, its what e tablets are cut with thats harmlful.
and im speaking as someone who would be condsidered fairly liberal when it comes to drugs
