    God, I hate the faux-empathy in the reporter's tone- the image we hope we'd never see. Bollix to that, the gutter media only ever saw her as a story, and see her in death in exactly the same way. I don't give a **** that Winehouse is dead- I don't mean that in a disrespectful way- but I hate the way outlets which hounded her in life, will know adopt a respectful, shocked, and mournful expression, even as they try to hawk her death for as much $$$ as possible.

    I cant profess to knowing a lot about her music apart or her lifestyle other than the reports that were very difficult to escape.

    A sad end to what could have been a very fulfilling and successful life.

    I very much do care that Amy Winehouse is dead, other than that, I totally agree.

    So fucking sad. Sad for her family and friends, and so sad for her - what an early end to a young person and, if things hadn't gone the way they did, imagine the life she could have had and all the living she's missed out on.

    What her life must have been like for the past while, I can't imagine. I hope she's at peace now.

    Huh, so it is true. I was just in a hotel attending my sister's after party for her wedding. While I was walking back to my room I overheard two people saying she had died. 27 :eek:. Roughly the same age as my sister who just got married.

    Jesus who cares really. This woman was a drug abuser. Some poor drug mule more than likely brought in her heroin stuffed up their back passage because said mules family would be killed otherwise. The money she paid for her drugs goes to criminals who are a plague on all society so i could'nt care less if shes gone.

    A very sad case. Anyone who thinks drugs aren't harmful only needs to look at her to see the damage that can be done. Some of the before and after videos on YouTube are shocking. She was a very attractive woman a few years back.

    People care because a young person just died. Yes, she was on drugs, but I have never heard anything about her trying to hurt people or being a bad person. There but for the grace of God, or for the luck of our upbringing, could go any one of us. Have a little empathy.
