And you sound as though you are in denial.

But I know you are smarter than that Dudess. Drugs killed Amy Winehouse and have killed countless others, there is no point trying to say it was anything else.
Alcohol is a drug, caffeine, drug, nicotine, drug.

The legalities of something do not point to its safety either, anti-drug laws never existed for safety reasons, marijuana is safer than alcohol, it's a fact, you can't get around it, don't put everything in the same category.

You mentioned earlier that having a level headed perception when it comes to drug use and the potential for abuse would be damaging for children, I'd argue the opposite, tar everything with the same brush and once your kid realises you were wrong in some regards you could be in dangerous water.

Yeah I had an unfunny 8 liner a few pages back.

    No it couldn't.

although she was hammered too and very young.

One E or one heroin shot (hit/smack) can't kill you, but it's easy to get hooked on it. Best stay away from it.

Plus those who do all those things end up paralitic (sp) and make fools of themselves when out.

If yer gonna do drugs, beware of the risks. If you do get hooked, don't complain like a bitch.

At least Amy's death will highlight the fact that drugs are dangerous .

If only one extra person listens and one life is saved , it will be worthwhile
    Wait what, drugs are dangerous?

If everybody stopped driving it'd save countless lives. Don't come crying to me when you're milled out of it at a busy cross junction.. you chose to get into that car.
    Know the risks.

i dont understand why it says she died after her 'first use of ecstasy' when it says in the beginning of the article "She is believed to have taken illegal substances and alcohol during the trip to Hartlepool", not only E and alcohol but it implies she was also taking other substances too. its that kind of thing that leads to people having irrational ideas about drugs

I could put my parents house on it, that most deaths from drugs are fueled by mixing alcohol with the drug/s.

The thing with drug or alcohol abuse is that a lot of people take drugs or drink to feel "normal" as they use it to fill an emotional void in their life.

If everybody stopped driving it'd save countless lives.
But then there'd be no ambulances to help all the poor sods who OD'd on a night out trying ecstacy for the first time.

Guys I'm sorry for any trouble I caused on this thread.

I don't do drugs, never will and will never agree that they are ok in anyway.

However if anyone here has taken them, enjoyed the experience and would be ok them fair enough and maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.

    Apologies again.

Man this will one drug kill you or not debate is ridiculous. Start a new thread or something. Also just because you take E and it hasn't killed you or your mates or anyone YOU know yet doesn't mean it's impossible for someone somewhere to have a bad reaction to one.

    Heroin yes, not E.

Not necessarily - and if they do, well, ditto from alcohol.

Nobody disputed that, they just argued that drugs aren't necessarily gonna make you wind up like Amy Winehouse.

You're just talking to the wall it seems. It's so funny how naive people can get about drugs once they've gotten into a comfortable place with them, and anyone who voices otherwise is deemed 'anti-drugs'

I'm not apologising for the opinion, more for talking about something everyone feels I know nothing about.

I didn't mean to cause trouble.

No underlying conditions necessary unfortunately. Well the correct body conditions that you can't know advance in. This is just one example there are tonnes of others. Everyone metabolises drugs differently, so it's quite possibly that you might just end up being one really unlucky soul.

Even though you're incorrect much of the time, that's your choice and should be respected.
However if anyone here has taken them, enjoyed the experience and would be ok them fair enough and maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.
Nobody's saying that at all - and I've no doubt you know it - just that what you're saying is pretty ignorant frankly and they're setting you straight. Lol tbh at you making out people are telling you you're wrong for not doing drugs.

Whatever. Certain drugs are illegal for a reason. Justify it however you want. Peanuts aren't an addictive substance and people are tested for peanut allergies at birth.

thats why people are discussing it with you though, for you to discuss what they're pulling you up on. if you believe in what you're saying then dont apologise for arguing your point. its what others are doing.
