Brave man to come on and talk about something so difficult and raw.

    And so soon.

I thought DLB said it was a year ago, which is soon enough.

But it was only in November...

Amen to that. There are so many parents tonight that could tell the same story word for word. Indeed parents of lads I knew too. :(

You mean the one he made about suicide last week? I think in fairness he did apologise unreservedly about that.

I don't know how he has the courage to come on live TV and speak about it, I think his openess about it will help others rethink taking their own life and hopefully seek support from their friends or support organisations. Suicide and what it leaves behind needs to be talked about more in this country and not swept under the carpet.

    eh...that wasn't me.

I've no idea what that poster is referring to the only post i have made in this thread is about Sheamus from WWE.

I think both of you should apologise to me.

    Agree.

Kind of like John Walsh. Father of Adam Walsh - child who was kidnapped and murdered in US in the 1980's.

John Walsh now presents America's most wanted.

There are alot of people suffering out there unfortunately. I'm posting the Samaritan's number this week as it may actually help someone out there.

The thing about this topic is even though it's very depressing for a light entertainment program. It is something that needs to be talk about as its an issue thats often swept under the carpet and society tends to shy away from discussing it.
