Dead Space 2 on XB360 - €23.99

I was looking at the Argos latest deals fold-out supplement and saw Dead Space 2 was listed as €23.99 for the Xbox 360. It's full price (€49.99) on the system but customer service reduced it for me when I showed them the deal.

Cheapest I can find elsewhere is €29.99 on Play.com. PS3 version was full price.

It's available in Argos UK for £23.99 (GBP) for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.

So would expect a similar price over here alright.. but no reduction is listed on the website yet.

isn't there the fold out bits in-store? maybe if it's in that, you could just bring it up to the till and get it for that price. will have a look when i'm in there later

Oh man this is hilarious !! Traded this in less than 2 wks ago for €50. Hadnt finished it but offer was too good to pass up. Just picked up one in blanch @ 23.99. As OP says it's 49.99 in system but I showed her the insert, she went off to check and 'that'll be 23.99 so'! Cheers OP. Just passed gamestop they still offering over 30 for trade ins on it. 3 left btw.

Edit. 40 quid trade in gamestop ! 35 in game

on the in store stock checker, it's coming up as 23.99, at least in galway, as opposed to €50 online. only 1 left in galway around 2pm today, would have got it except i've enough games to be playing after adding ME2 to the pile yesterday :P

Spotted it on sale for €29.99 in my local HMV at lunch on PS3 and Xbox 360..

.. so not a bad alternative if you've no Argos nearby.

I was in Dundrum and checked the Argos there. It was 23.99 on their system as well so it looks to have been changed properly.

It seems once someone points it out they change it on the shop system, it came up as €49.99 in Swords for me, but they changed it on the system once I pointed it out.
Oh there's one left in Swords now AFAIK.

It's €28.45 on Zavvi.com for the Xbox and PS3 versions, the PC version is €17.99. It says free shipping on all orders but I don't know if that applies to Ireland.

If you get any hassle tell them to call one of the stores that have it reduced on their system. Dundrum had it at €23.99 yesterday and somebody mentioned another store had it officially reduced as well.

This isn't true, prices shown are an invitation to treat (make an offer), they dont have to honor prices shown online, in a store leaflet, or on a shelf.

They dont legally have to sell it at that price..Its good customer service to do that but if it was a mistake on their system all they have to say is that when your at the counter there was a mistake in the system and its actually being sold for x amount

Bought it in Cavan, had to point out the leaflets, guessing I was the first in the store to go for the offer and it's been updated now.
