But Cork and Waterford cities are better, in Leinster - Kilkenny and Dublin are better cities, in Connacht Galway is a better city.

Limerick is the bottom of my list of cities in the Irish Republic.

You obviously haven't spent much time there

I thought the Friday show was supposed to be 'lighthearted' !!

I was expecting commedians and the like

None of them are cities, they're big towns.

Vincent thinks the banks were lying but that they just didnt know.. Even Brian Lenihan said (on Freefall) that the banks were more "inclined" to present a positive outlook of their situations than may necessarily have been the case...

    Haha!

Ads for man moisteriser in the break of VB show! Could this be a knock-on effect of econmists becoming stars in Ireland that they were just talking about?

    This is recorded.

Takes the good out of it.
If it is recorded, it must have been recorded earlier today as the panel have been talking about Michael Martin's severance package..............

VB doesn't wear a tie, I think that's what he means by light hearted.:D

    I don't think tonight's programme is live.

I think you will find they were given city status.

    yeah, surprised me to.

Merrill Lynch issued a very damning report on the Irish banks to the London mkts 6 months before they were hired by FF and before the guarantee - the banks knew this. they knew well the situation

same report was retracted the next day and re-issued toned down

It doesn't really make them cities - Drogheda, Dundalk, Bray, Tallaght and so on have larger populations than Kilkenny and Waterford.

    Are you Jose in disguise?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,873 ✭✭✭Skid

    lol.. his constantin is funny..

    60% Rafa Benitez
    40% Jose Mourinho

But it's pretty good, in fairness.
