Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Dublin Banjo player in Waterford!

    Hey fella's, As the title suggests I'm a Dublin lad living in the great county of Waterford. I play the 5 string banjo and am currently looking for trad musicians to play, gig and jam with in Waterford city. I like The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, The Wolfe Tones, Damien Dempsey, Fergus O Byrne, Ryans Fancy, Son's of Erin and alot of trad like that. If anyone plays and is interested please let me know as I've been living in this city for months and am still struggling to find Trad musicians... Sláinte Oscarbass04

    I see that alot of you are reading this post (87 so far), But none of you seem to be Trad players in Waterford. How is it that there is not 1 single person on this website that plays Trad in Waterford??

    Every second Thursday there is a group of lads playing trad in the ronemore centre. Jaysus your man on the banjo is absolutely class on it. If anyone wants to join in with them they do be delighted. Call up sometime and the lads behind the bar will tell you which Thursday it is. You would love it

    You could also put a thread like this up in the Waterford forum. Can't guarantee anything but most people get help with whatever they're looking for there.
