    Hi all,

I'm researching independently but need some help and guidance. I wonder if there is some standard way of soliciting help from academics with specialized knowledge, I am more than willing to pay them for their time.

    Any thoughts?

The field is experimental psychology (auditory cognition).

Just email them and ask them questions. That's what I do. Some are very helpful, some will ignore you.
