Killygordon has now hit -15.3 but even more dramatic perhaps is the road temperature which has gone into double figures at -10.4

NRA home page and then you can pan north obviously to find Killygordon.

The lowest air temperature was minus 19.1 degrees, at Markree Castle, Co Sligo, on January 16th, 1881, while the lowest observed 20th-century air temperature was minus 18.8, at Lullymore, Co Kildare, on January 2nd, 1979.

So that's the target; -18.8C to beat the twentieth century and -19.1C to get the Big Kahuna!

That link to the NRA homepage works fine! But when you get to chart of latest reports for the weather stations it gets stuck.

Any update on Castlederg?

ps I can't get that link thingy to work either - damn cold!

To link a post right click and copy the post NUMBER link ( top right it is #1080 ) , type the word HERE in a new post and highlight it with the mouse.

Then click the green 'world' icon above and paste the copied link in when prompted.

The word HERE now appears in BLUE and is clickable.
