cheers all for making this an interesting thread !

i got home there about 35 mins ago and the game is installing since then... 5 mins left on screen buts its only half way... its a waiting game !

all the stuff about slow menus and what not... that should iron itself out the more you use them and they more they install ! (or so i've heard)

but any who i cant wait to get cracking in career mode and get licenses and what not and enjoy the game... i honestly dont care for reviews cos everyone is different and i have my own opinions on this !

see y'all on the track !

I saw my own car in the second hand dealer and went to do a couple of races to get enough money to buy it but when I went back it was gone. Any idea how the second hand dealer refresh works? Is the selection fairly limited or am I going to have to check back 100 times before I see the car I want again?

Can anyone confirm you use your own music playlists?

Yeah, the second hand dealer is a pain in the ass. The cycle for rare cars can be huge if its anything like previous GT's. I'm still waiting for a decent pre 80's Jap car to complete the beginner events. There was nothing for days and then a sh¦te 69 Isuzu appears.

I wonder if the days progress when you're doing the licences. I actually really enjoyed the first set. Got all golds eventually.

Do any of the game shops sell anything like a frame for a steering Wheel? I wanna get a wheel but have nothing to attach it to.

Was playing GT mode for a while. Bought a Celica. (Jaysus) Did the first licence but what is the story with not being able to control the car in races?

Do you have to get to a certain level or what? Kinda pissed me off a bit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,235 ✭✭✭caspa307

did you click install cos you have the option not too it just makes loading sloooooooooooooow, go to options click installl go out till 12 and ill see ya online about half 12

Driving force GT. Its sturdy enough but i have to midify it a small bit with a saw because the center of gravity changes massivly when the wheel is clamped on to the very edge so it knocks over easily.

Ill saw off a small bit so the wheel is clamped closer to the stand/center of gravity so it wont fall over as easily.

Plenty of room too for your legs/ pedals and your height wont be a problem as its fully height and tilt adjustable.
