@ Magil not me mate was never at midlans to my shame tbh since im in the midlands :)

@ Fairy yes yes and yes :)
Streamline is my next objective, the wheel takes up a lot as does the sky box but its a handy stand to raise the tv up a wee bit :)
Might drop the pc down onto the shelf below [gathers lots of dust there tho] and move the 360 up to where the pc is atm.
Brand new tv btw, fecking delighted with it,stunning quality tbh,now to sell my 23" monitor :P

@Headshot, yep G15, and Logitech mx 518 mouse :) well spotted, did ya spot my shiney new G35 headset too ;)

Is it just me that has wires and games lying about everywhere ? Or did everyone else just spend 20 mins tidying there room and organising there games before taking a photo ???? My setup does be a ****ing mess after a proper gaming session :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,127 ✭✭✭✭Leeg17

I moved by bed out from my wall and threw all the wires behind the ps, so yea I did clean up :p.

My room is like a bomb hit it most weekends after playing CoD for more time than is normal.

I'm a total slob when I'm gaming. The only time I get out of my chair is to pee and let the dogs in/out. Other than that I just sit in my own filth for 14 hours :p

My missus is a total neat freak so does it all for me :) But I've warned her to be careful now as I have a tonne of wires lying around after getting a new laptop charger, external hard drive and turtle beach headset.

    My setup

Two things about your setup ,

1: always clear out any evidence of non-hard-core gaming ( sims box )

2: is it nuclear powered ? cause the two sockets have nothing plugged into them :D

This is my simple setup. I've the PS3 in the living room so I've to do all my PC gaming in my bedroom.

    5152012557_df6deb7c82.jpg
    5152016009_5ebcc383bf.jpg

    I've a 20 inch Samsung and a 23 inch Dell (1920 x 1080). Saitek II Keyboard and Microsoft Sidewinder (X5 i think) mouse.
I've a Creative Fatality headset but there is a Razor Megalodon in the post as we speak.
Under the hood I've nothing special, Nvidia GTX 260, Q6600 cpu. Plenty though for CoD in native 1080 resolution.

Doesn't compare to some in here but here ya go anyway:
At the moment have the 360 down in the sitting room as can't seem to get live going via connection sharing with my pc and don't have the wireless dongle for the xbox. Play a lot worse when I sit at the couch rather than at my pc screen but still have fun so who cares.

Another +1 for the Xtra Vision TV:
    08112010007.jpg
Room in General (seating for 11 on couches!)
    08112010009.jpg
Where I play better: (really miss the surround sound when I play downstairs)
