This car has previously been taxed as a commercial/goods vehicle.
All the rear seats in the car can be folded down completley flat into a cargo area.

kevin, your bringing back lots of memories with that chevy. does your car have an electric rear/boot window?

Those old Caprice's are indestructible. It's not uncommon to see these go well past the 300,000 mile mark.

Indeed it does! You can operate it from the outside by turning the key in the lock or by a switch on the dash!

A good secondhand s3 one is very rare. I think that you can buy new ones ore remanuafctured ones but they are expensive. You might be better off getting your current one repaired.

If its a defender one you want, they are more accessable but you'd want to go to the UK to get a good selection. I bought a very good one from the north but its cost me nearly £400 including delivery.

solid shell needing tidying only.(you can go mad or just put it on the road as is) Rear tool well needs re-attaching as does the base of one wing and there is a little work to do on the front valence on one corner. You need to see for yourself, theres not a lot of work in it.

engine and box available if required .
no seats ,missing a few odd bits and bobs like a steering wheel and a rear light but almost all there otherwise (rolling on GT wheels)
brake lines all renewed with new rear wheel cylinders.

OFFERS or SWAP for a "modern" Ford (ie around 1999/2000 :) ) with a decent chunk of NCT on it.

1200 euro for the Cortina with no engine and no interior. Would be a very very expensive Cortina if one decided to restore. Best of luck:D:D:D

    Hi guys,

I hope this is the right place for this post. I'm looking for a vintage VW Beetle as a wedding car for my wedding next year. We've our heart set on one. Buuuuuut any of the wedding car companies I've looked up only have the bigger fancier flashy things, which we definately don't want. We are based in Galway, and the total journey would amount to 100km at the very very most. If anybody can suggest anything would you pm me??

    Thanks,

    MR

I did email him a while back, he wanted £2700 firm. I'm still not sure if I like that colour.

I thought it sold on ebay last week for £1700?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,093 ✭✭✭johnos1984

I never saw it on the 'bay but I'll ask him.

    Back in two minutes.

If it sold for that amount I'll be very pissed off as I had offered him 2k  and I knew it HAD TO GO

Your right and I'm now in a bad mood for the night

A bargain for whoever bought it.

There is a silver one on Carandclassic but I know its changed owner many times of late so stay away in case you go looking at it as it probably has serious rust issues underneath
