    hate to butt in guys, but while torrenting isn't "allowed" per say, the college don't really monitor it. I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for torrenting on the college network ;)

    And I've seen an email from the ISS with trackers listed and all with the question "can you please explain this traffic".

    They do watch, and will act if arsed.

    I thought the only way to torrent was through a VPN, in which case they wouldn't see trackers?

    Just got the email about the two students hospitalised with meningitis. Does anyone know if they were in the same apartment/shared a room or whatever? That's bad luck for them though.
