For October, 2010 ...

(1) IMT value -- mean monthly temp -- deg C. (1961-90 avg was 10.2)

(2) highest temp anywhere in Ireland as per met.ie

(3) lowest temp anywhere in Ireland as per met.ie

(4) rainfall percentage of normal (all stations monthly summary)

(5) sunshine percentage of normal (all stations monthly summary)

(6) Bonus question -- daily max temp for Valentia, Saturday 9th October

If you wish to use the template ...

( IMT ..... MAX ..... MIN ..... RAIN ..... SUN ..... VAL9)

leave the dots in and just enter your numbers over the letters, goes right into the table with a bit of editing.

Thanks and please note, in the annual scoring thread, I have added a new table that shows how the regular contestants are doing in the annual competition with the "ten best" rule in mind.

As always, entries accepted without penalty to end of the day, Friday 1st of October. Entries subject to penalty on Sat 2nd, closed to entries at 0001h Sun 3rd.

Thanks for early entries, you should note that I have added the IMT average for the period 1961-90 which is 10.2 deg.

If that prompts any rethinks, just edit your entry if you still can.
