Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    An unfunded theatre project, hoping to produce an original play in the autumn. The play's got a strong human rights theme, so it's not completely selfish. It's taken months of work and A LOT of persuasion to get an established theatre to agree to take a new script by a new writer, and the quiz is to raise the deposit on the theatre so the project can definitely go ahead :cool:

    Table quiz in aid of the Irish Guide Dogs on Tuesday the 29th of June in the Garda Club on Harrington street, Dublin. Starts at 830 and there will also be a charity auction for a signed Leinster jersey and a signed Irish Jersey that has been signed by the RTE world cup coverage team.It is 40euro per table. All proceeds go to the Irish Guide Dogs.

    All are welcome to a Table Quiz this Friday 2nd July in "Break for the Border" near St. Stephen's Green shopping centre, Dublin.

    Start Time : 8:30pm Friday 2nd July

    Entry fee : 10 Euro each (Tables of 4) ... Prizes on the night.

    The proceeds will go toward funding some building work for a small rural school near Kabale, Uganda.

    hi,

    myself and a couple of mates are going to run a table quiz next week for Temple Street Hopital and I just have a few questions s this will be our 1st time.

    1. Do you know of any good venues that do free room rental in and around the following areas:
    Ranelagh
    Stillorgan
    Dundrum

    2.We are going to do it on a Sat. nite as we have a big crowd of friends and are going to make a night of it. I realise there are not too many table quizes on a sat nite so just wondering if we are making a big mistake?

    3. any other tips would be appreciated.

    Our residents Association (Greenfield Park Residents Association) are holding a table Quiz on the 10th of September. The main aim is to bring the community together and to raise some much need funds for the area.

    Venue: Greenfields Park Community Club, Shanliss Avenue.

    I'm running a Table Quiz this Thursday (August 26th) Upstairs in McGrattan's Bar, just off Baggot Street.....from 7pm.

    Entry is €10 per person (max 4 people per team) and all money raised goes directly to the Medical Missionaries of Mary Home Help Programme in Choloma, Honduras.

    We've got some brilliant prizes including restaurant vouchers for Cafe en Seine, Pablo Picante, Tante Zoe's, Havanas Tapas Bar...to name but a few....we've also got bottles of wine, boxes of chocolates, tickets to the Wax Museum, Dublinia, the Comedy Club, Kylemore Karting and the Cinema as well as vouchers for Jane Shorthall Dance classes.

    Thanks to the teams that showed up tonight, I think there were two boardsies tables including our winners. Glad there were a few questions that challenged you...this quiz mistress brought all the answer sheets home to analyse the scores to see which questions were most likely to be incorrect. Yes I am sad...but I love stats!

    Is it better to have questions written out on sheeets with a space for the answer or should i just get a quizmaster to call out the questions?

    How many rounds should it consist of? 8/10?

    Any advise regarding getting prizes/sponsors etc.?

    Are there any regular quizzes that take place around dublin city centre, or even a bit further out? I used to go to one every monday night when living in Cork but not sure if there are any here.

    Dublin County Macra na Feirme are holding a table quiz on Tuesday September 21st at 8pm in Doyles Pub across from Trinity College, Dublin in aid of the Chernobyl Children's Project and Dublin County Macra na Feirme. Treble R member Caroline Gittens will be to heading to Chernobyl on the 11th October to work with the Chernobyl Children's Project International. Cost for a table of 4 is €40. There will also be a raffle with many wonderful prizes to win. All monies raised on the night will go towards Dublin County Macra na Feirme and also to sponsor Treble R member Caroline Gittens trip to Chernobyl to help out on the Chernobyl Children's Project.     Hi all

    I am hosting a Charity Pub Quiz in the Epicenter Bar, in East Point Business Park, only about 10 mins from the city centre. The quiz is on next Thursday 30th September and starting at 7.30pm. We have some great prizes and there is complimentary finger food too. Its 10 euro per person and tables of 4 please! The charities that will benefit from this are Cure Parkinson's Trust and Special Olympics Ireland. I am also running the Dublin Marathon in October for these charities! Please come and support these great causes! There is a free shuttle bus from Clontarf Dart Station right to the Epicenter bar.

    The Socialist Party in Limerick is organising a fundraising pub quiz this Thursday, September 30th at 8pm in the Horse and Hound, Mulgrave St, Limerick City.
