    Which award was that?

Excellent work on compiling that poll. Some very deserving winners.

Knowing Angel, it was Alan Devine winning Hottest Male...

I was happy Fair City got the recognition it deserved in these awards, but extremely disappointed that Hollyoaks was voted worst soap... It hasn't been great this year, but it's still better than Doctors, Neighbours and Home and Away (for the record I used to watch both Home and Away and Neighbours, so I know how bad they've gotten)... I don't watch Eastenders, Emmerdale or Coronation Street anymore though, but I know they're decent soaps...
Would've liked to see Ros na Rún win a few or at least get more nominations... There's always next year I guess...

I was surprised it didn't win one or two awards (don't watch it myself anymore, but it used to be great)... Then again I thought Hollyoaks and Ros na Rún might have won one or two as well, so I guess its just the way the cookie crumbles...

In fairness Hollyoaks has been the worst soap this year and with the decline in viewers it might be axed before the year is out sorry Captain Negative and now with
    an alien
storyline coming up how can it redeem itself

Three individual awards for Robert Daly is wonderful.

Luckily The Mitchells didn't win the best family award to go with their triumph in the worst family category.

I didn't think Hollyoaks was that bad but if they're going ahead with that spoiler ^^ then I take it back!!

I've actually heard some rumours about said spoiler and it isn't gonna be what people think and that it could potentially be a great SL...

Eh no... I vaguely remember someone else saying they'd do that, because I didn't have the time, but I can't remember who, so if anyone wants to do that, go for it...

I think Meeja possibly said they would but I think we decided against it..

That's right. There was a general consensus on the thread that it was a bad idea to contact them, seeing as we had categories for things and people we didn't like.

Someone also pointed out that anyone on the show who is aware of Boards.ie could hardly be unaware of the thread, and there is no point in intruding it on people who aren't.
