as it says on the tin, what's the best way to store a spare battery in my wallet so it doesn't leak or touch of anything or get done by rain etc?

i used to carry a spare n95 battery around with me in a plastic bag but you could sometimes notice the condensation on the battery if i went to use it (although never noticed any ill effects).

The small plastic baggie works well, I would drop a few silica balls in with it to help absorb moisture - replacing as needed. You know the ones that come in most electronics packaging (laptops, hdd's, computers, etc). Just don't eat them, or leave them in reach of children.

Wrap it in a small piece of cotton so it can "breathe".

silica gel as suggested to absorb moisture. you get it in loadsa things (in a little sachet) place that little bag in with it and it will sort ya out i assume

batteries are sealed anyway, so even then the water probably isnt any harm.
