Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Todd Brownings 1932 movie entitled Freaks caused huge controversy when it was released as he used real life side show performers and "freaks" in the movie.It was banned for many years.
The use of Thalidomide in the late 50s/early 60s caused severe birth defects in children whose mothers had taken it whilst pregnant.
Some of these images are quite upsetting so havnt linked them.
