So tell us about your experiences on that ship sonny.

You were obviously there and witnessed all this at close quarters?

    "sonny"?

Well shooting 6 unarmed peace activists in the head at close range while armed to the teeth sounds about right for the israeli notion of valour.

I am also sure medals were handed out left right and center to all those soldiers that murderd over 1300 unarmed men, women and childern during the 2009 incursion.

    Back that up?

Hope that the single commando who was responsible for killing 6 of the activists on the Mavi Marmara will not be part of the boarding party on the Rachel Corrie. By the way, he is in line to receive a medal of valor for his actions.

    Thanks.

Reading that sheds more light on just how savage the attack on the IDF personnel was.

Staff.Sgt.S is the type of soldier I want taking my back, legend.

FAIL; you didn't bother reading the articule did you!..

Meanwhile as two more activists arrive home today, THIS IDIOT's mother (another full time protester) was on TV3's 'Moring Ireland' telling us her son is currently in receipt of job seekers allowance - nice one Fiachra, swanning around the med on my tax's then getting repatriated at the expense of the Israeli taxi payer, nice work if you can get it!.

I hope he's investigated by the social welfare.

The israelis were armed - ?
The peace activists did not have any firearms.
The israelis have already admitted that activists were shot in the head (If you remember the footage of the soldier being thrown to the next deck ? He has admitted that this happened AFTER he shot an activist in the head).
This all happened in a close-range situation.

The simple way for Israel to prove their version of events is to release the full un-edited and uncaptioned footage.

Perhaps you can explain why they have continue to refuse to do so ?

Or to return personal items (cameras, laptops etc) which were taken from non israeli citizens while in international waters ?

Yes I read the article. Fail back atcha.

If their version is correct why not release the full unedited footage showing the entire incident unfold ?

The IDF's assault on the ship was illegal.. those on board acted legally in fighting them off, whether it was the right thing to do or not. It was obviously foolish, but entirely within their rights.

The IDF broke international law by boarding the ship in international waters. You don't need to have been there to know that.

I don't know why people are getting hung up on the details of the confrontation.. the confrontation itself should never have taken place

One of the Irish activists in his time in captivity asked an Israeli soldier to see a rabbi and the soldier told him the only rabbi he would see would be at his funeral:eek:

If he wasn't armed, how did he shoot them? Did he use Uri-Geller-Fu to propel the bullets?

I just did, man. I am sure this will all become crystal clear when the israeilis release the full unedited footage they are still holding onto for some strange reason.

Total conjecture on your part pilgrim.

I'll let you off the hook on this one, but don't go making definitive statements unless you can back them up.

    Focking amateur.

He should have asked for a nice Rabbi. Otherwise they could have got this guy and he'd be worse off

Back up the post or withdraw it man.

That is what happened. There are a number of articles from reliable sources that have been posted in this thread that point out that the activists were unarmed, and were killed by shots to the head.

Commandos are obviously going to be armed to the teeth.

How would it not have been close range unless they were being sniped from afar?

Calm down folks. No need to take it to a personal level.
Concern about more violence loomed large as Israel stood fast by its blockade, despite rising pressure to lift it following Monday's raid against another aid ship that left nine activists dead.

Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Corrigan, who was on the ship with other activists, said they were determined to press on but would offer no resistance if Israeli forces came aboard.

"We will sit down," she told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from the ship. "They will probably arrest us ... But there will be no resistance."

The Free Gaza Movement said on its website that the ship, the 1,200-ton Rachel Corrie, would reach Gaza by Saturday morning.

Unfortunately it is not up to you to 'let anyone off the hook', not sure where you get that idea from.

I don't see anything between the above 2 posts which requires a retraction or a 'letting off the hook' from someone such as yourself.

Jesus, I can't believe the amount of posts and threads about this!

Don't know it was mentioned already within all the posts but I was more shocked about ordinary Israelis in Primetime last night. Every person was saying "they should have been all killed" "all the shipped should have been torpedoed out of the water".

Wow is there anything some people won't say to support Israel. We have 4/5 newbies here to defend the indefensible and some people I used to respect.

They are, but his mother claimed on TV that he's actively seeking employment - how did he propose to do that while swanning around the med?.

She also claimed he was arrested for damaging a US aircraft at Shannon airport, but I can't find anything online about that.
