Garda eye in the sky.

    Hi just wondering its been so peaceful for ages, been no sound from that garda chopper for a long time now (which is great) .

    so is it broken or are cutbacks keeping it grounded or are we crime free.

    You would be amazed how many *silly banannas* ring 999 to complain about the noise of the Garda helicopter - one gob****e gave his name and address and then threatened to shoot it down !! ( think he got a wee visit for his troubles :D )

    It used to be over my area alot.(live beside the n4 ,m50 interchange) .

    I heard it was being replaced with this coming out of the Top of Harcourt street garda Station.

    You mightn't see them in the sky as much these days, there out establishing a few speed traps
