    I've been doing this Irish Times quiz over Christmas with the family. We got stuck on one question in yesterday's(Monday) edition.It is the cultural and entertainment section of the quiz. Question 44 - What conversational cranium sang in the National Concert Hall in April?

    None of us can get it here. Help would be appreciated. Cheers.

    David Byrne, member of
    Talking Heads
    , played there on the 6th of April so I guess it's them you're looking for.

    Vinpaul - I'm no expert at these things, but for number 11 I think the answer is that they have their names abbreviated to a moniker - i.e. Jedward, Bennifer, Brangelina.

    Working my was through the answers - loads to go!

    re: Picture 38, I'm thinking Thierry Henry - him in his Arsenal jersey and the infamous left hand. However, the other half thinks that the skin colour is too white. Anyone any other suggestions, or go with what I already have?

    Anyone any idea on number 34: It has been dark - though not at the top - for 250 years

    Picture of the han is Thierry Henry, ring on his finger gives it away.

    Nr. 34 is a pint of Guinness :)

    No. 74: As bank stocks collapsed, which company cemented its position as the “heavyweight” of the Irish Stock Exchange?

    I'm thinking it could be CRH because of the 'cemented' reference and the fact that it didn't do too badly this year.

    Any ideas?

    CRH is correct

    Is it twins?

    Moniker is suggested but does not sound like a typical quiz answer.
    The twins connection seems good to me.
    Any other views:mad::mad:
