Well played, sir. We're definitely living up to our nerdy tag-line.

In their minds this equates with reading the dictionary all night

I'm proud to admit that I have read the dictionary.
I can also confirm that doing so will not improve your vocabulary in any way. It may even make it worse.

I should note that counting to 10000 requires so much initial focus that counting sheep will never ever work again.

    Ever.

Best hours of my life. :pac:

There was a moment the other day. I took a step back and looked long and hard at myself. I saw a green checkered shirt. I saw battered Vans. I saw a Modest Mouse tee. I saw a band pin.

I saw a god damned indie kid. How and when did this happen?

Sorry bud, you've always been like this, much like that shirt Niall wears, I'd worry if I saw you not wearing the green checkered shirt.

Will somebody please define 'indie'? And then I'll tell ya if I fit into it or not
    because that's what I've been called. :o

    Cowboys and Indians?

I've been defined as the classic old head on young shoulders. I know everything there is to know about the game.

People tend to classify me as a nerd, but there is a lot more to me than meets the eye, anyone I get close to tells me this.
I think I'm perceived to be quite indie, too.

    It's beautiful,it's Magic,Magic the gathering in fact.

Has anyone else noticed the severe lack of stereotypes in this thread? we've had about as many as we've had posters

I get called a poshie by knackers, and a knacker by poshies. In reality I suppose I'm somewhere in between.

I get called poshie by Phasers, and Phasers by poshies.

Really I'm just a very sleepy girl in a onesie. An 18 year old with the needs and wants of a 6 month old.

You want to be burped and changed (in that other sense ;)) like a 6 month old?

    Okkkaaayyyyyyy.......................whatever works for you :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

Does that mean I don't have to burp and change myself? Awesome.

And your parents are cool with this? Or do you have a nanny who does it all for you =0

No, funnily enough the rest of the world wants to treat me like an 18 year old. So my inner baby has to make do with soothing music and onesies.

    Nerd.
Basically it, I've been programming for a few years now and always been good at Maths. Other nerdy stuff as well but those are the main two.
My love of NetHack doesn't help either (Though I've never come close to winning it)
