Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

I was thinking simply along the lines of -Poster of the Year -Thread of the Year -Post of the Year -Best Newcomer -Most likely to be banned in 2010 -Best Taste in Music :D Etc. I was thinking simply along the lines of

-Best Newcomer
-Most likely to be banned in 2010
-Best Taste in Music
Etc.

If people think it's a good idea, you could put your suggestions for awards in here.

On a more serious note, I'm not sure I could pick out individual posters as being the poster of the year.

Though for thread of the year, I'd definitely go for Share something you like/find interesting. Also the Celebrity Crushes thread

We could do it here, I just thought with people nominating Jizzler (I assume they were joking...) then putting up their actual nominations it might get a bit messy.

I suppose we should start counting nominations once we have a definitive list of awards...

Giving Jizzler the awards is a problem for two reasons:
a) It'd be unfair on everyone else who has no chance this year.
b) It'd be unfair on Jizzler who deserves much more.

As a solution to this I propose that we call the awards the "Jizzlers" in honour of him.

As an extra bonus to the winners, instead of saying, in a boring way: "I won the C&H award for best poster", they get to say "I got a Jizzler for hottest mombest poster".

Some would call him a hero, some would call him a martyr, some wouldn't call him either but just because it's not really their style, they still thought he was a pretty cool guy.
