I am using a 20x8ft shipping container for storage, its good and dry, but in this cold weather, its just like a fridge, i know you can get sheets of insulation material, will these be of any use for lining the walls, and maybe the roof?

any pointers as to what i should buy, or will anything work?

Very difficult to do I suspect. You would want to prevent any air getting behind the insulation because otherwise you would get a lot of condensation happening which would end up soaking the insulation from behind.

Sprayed on polyurethane foam is about the only thing I can think of which might have a chance of keeping air away from the cols metal.
