Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    games too tough !!! Feck sake..... open the bloody phone lines and people will be able to get through.

    we'll have this running for another 10mins, maybe .....before they let someone phone in..... people that are actually phoning at the moment must be doin' their nut..... constantly phoning and not getting through (all that money wasted)

    just looking at the figures .... assuming they get a decent amount of calls per min ..... also assuming they have a number of phone lines allowing multiple incoming calls..... they are possibly looking at a couple of hundred a minute.

    conservatively lets say they have 5 telephone lines - and people are calling at a rate of 50 per minute over those lines (10 calls per phone line per minute...seems reasonable for me)

    Anyway - 1.50 per call, approx 50 per minute .... :eek::eek: thats €75 per minute :eek: :eek: they are taking in (of course this is complete speculation and I'm talkin b0ll0x)
