I've 2 x Beyerdynamic MCE-80 TG mics I'm selling soon, they've had about 1 years studio use.
I'll take any decent offer for them.

Plus possibly an Audix D4, that's had very little use.

Jilt just a heads up. I wouldn't buy an Ion unless you have tried one before and know that you like them.
I've owned various synths at different points, including an Ion, and it was probably my least favourite. It looks great, and the control is pretty good, but I couldn't get into it's sound, especially when I needed something meaty.

Cheers for the advice womoma. I would prefer the D-50 but I've liked the reviews and clips I've seen of the ion in action. I've a feeling that the D-50 might be harder to find though.

I used to have a D-50. I'd say it was too old sounding to be interesting, but not old enough to be cool.

I sold an Ion to Damon Albarn ..... but that was when they were new.

What did you think of the Ion? Did you test it out much. The SOS review is quite positive.

Gonna put this out there and see if there's interest:

I've a 70's Sound City L120 head (with original Partridge transformers), not in working order, but also have the assembled Ceriatone boards that can be used to turn the head into a HiWatt DR103. My plan was to gut the innards of the amp and essentially us the chassis and transformers to make the HiWatt clone. Anyone either:

Fancy building it for me? (For a fee obviously...and I'll buy all necessary materials)
Or, anyone fancy buying the lot off me?

Looking to buy a pair of KRK RP5s. New or second hand, i dont mind as long as they're in relatively good nick. Can anyone sell me a pair or recommend a place for me to buy new?

@ DamagedTrax: I might be interested in that fast track pro. Have you used this on a mac? If so, any driver issues? Any issues at all?

i was using it on pc with protools m-powered. had a slight issue at the start but last driver update sorted it out fully and worked perfect since.

i've no idea about it on mac but m-audio have gotten their game in shape since digidesign bought them out so i cant see there being any problems.
