Sorry that i'll be asking a straight laced question - its just i've realised i've sent the change of details form with the offer of acceptance form! In my excitement i didn't read it all fully - woops. Does anyone know if i'll be taking a hiding for this or should I just ring HR and get them to send me a new form?
Oh yeah i'm 28 if anyone is interested - i missed the age convo yesterday - Plus i told my boss i'm leaving and she was great about it, the MD still hasnt spoken to me though and normally he's screaming at me for something or other so i'm enjoying the peace and quiet!

You are probably not the first to do this.

Ring HR for a new form. I doubt they'll be too scathing. :)

    hey everyone...

haven't been on in a couple of days and there was loads of pages to catch up on!! i can't get on it work during the day as our internet access is logged by IT

well im 22, 23 in april, one of the younger ones.

Just to let you's know - i had a query with the confidential personnel dept form today. Under the awards/commendations section there was a line about education certificates. I was wondering if it was just the certificates for the awards that you may have put down or for all exams (GCSE's etc) so I called to check and it is all certificates they are looking for... which I have misplaced. So I have to get on the phone to the examination boards tomorrow to get replacements :( Just thought I would post it on here incase anyone else was wondering. I asked the lady do I have to bring them to the student day in Feb but she said as long as I have them for 8 March, it's fine.

And also, I've a couple of questions aswell!....

Has anyone decided on bringing their laptop / ipod with them? I was def gonna bring my ipod to get me off to sleep at night as I'm a light sleeper. Tho I'm pretty sure I'll be going out like a light after a couple of weeks!!

And the other was, I've read that we wear our suits for the first week or so til we get our uniform? Once we've been dismissed for day, what's everyone wearing? Do we still have to keep it formal or is jeans/jogging bottoms ok??

I'm pretty sure I'll have a billion more questions before March!

When did you have to fill in your education details? Was it on the application form or part of the vetting? It's nearly a year since I applied and I can't remember what was asked of me?!!

Seriously!?! ALL the certificates. I'm screwed...(have sooo many you see) ahem...but no really, do you have any numbers for anyone or any idea of how to get them?

Also yea I plan to bring the ipod and a laptop with a broadband dongle thingy, I think I read in the starting garnerville thread it was ok as long as you chuck it in the locker come inspection time.

I dont think it asked anywhere on the application form for a list of qualifications. I am pretty sure it just asked what level you had reached eg NVQ, GCSE, Btec, Degree etc, I dont think it even asked what subjects you studied. I hope this doesn't mean, if I do get in that I have to dig out my cycling profficiency certificate just so I have something formal looking when everyone else is standing with their gold leaf degrees

i still have the letters that i got on the day my results come out so was just gonna google the examination boards and get their phone number - and im guessing then my candidate number or exam numbers should help them find me on their system?!

unless someone maybe rings and makes the same enquiry tomorrow to double check?

have u got a broadband dongle yet? is that one of the pay as you go ones? like 250 hours of internet for x amount of pounds? i wasn't sure whether to get one incase it would end up being a waste of money. any advice of what to look out/go for when buying one?
