    Thanks again BoutYe,

I'd hate them to think I was cheating, I don't believe in that sort of thing!

To be honest if its in Belfast which im assuming it is then there will be plenty of places around about that you could wait anyway if it is a problem.

I have my IST in mid May and as far as I know there are no IST's later than this so I have still got time to read the advise as it appears on this thread :D

I have mine towards the end of May, I must be one of the last on here to do it!!!! am reading all the advice too Ciaran and its making me more nervous!!! Judging by my location they must "do" the cities first then branch out to the less populated areas?
If your IST is later does that necessarily mean that those applicants will wait longer (if successful) for the other aspects of the recruitment process?

    If so

I am in for a long wait then!!!!!!!!!!!!

One board member is now training, he had a merit placing 750's, RC background and started training in March.

the lower the number the better the score, ie, 200 better than 500.

I was just about to ask the same question as goodcopbadcop about the results. I read a few pages that the failures get letters this week, if its true I dont want to see a large white envelope. Im very impatient when waiting for results etc!!!! I sat my test last monday, so its been 8 days. My 20 working days brings me upto the 19th may! Gosh I hate waiting

I did mine last Wednesday and no word here yet either. It seems the longer you wait the better the chances of passing? Hopefully I won't get any post from them this week

indeed! By the way, if anyone hasnt done the test yet and wants a look at a practice test, Ive got one that seems to be lot harder than the one from the website and books. I wud say a more accurate representation of the actual test. If anyone wants me to send it on just let me know
