No, sorry I think you misunderstand where I'm coming from here. I'm all for testing humour to it's limits as I believe it highlights the hypocrisies throughout society, the media and religion. However, there's humour and then there's being deliberately and directly hurtful to individuals or races. In that particular YouTube video, the marine is directly targeting islamic women in a hurtful manner, rather than playing out a parody or skit. Obviously individuals of a similar mindset to him would find it funny (i.e. racists) but one could never consider it intelligent humour.

There's a world of difference between saying "Does my bomb look big in this" and the crap he mentioned. And saying 'Durka' in Team America is highlighting the ignorance of Western society to Islam, whereas he just uses it as a cheap slur. I believe those marines got in serious trouble for that video.

I think people who are genuinely funny are those who can see how the world really works. I'm all for offensive and distasteful but as DeVore and Hagar said, we're not in the business of deliberatly hurting people.

I think you're a member of the Lolocaust forum so I'm sure you get what I mean now. You have some damn funny jokes throughout the humour forum. Lets stick with them.

As an aside, the two posts of mine you refer to - I'm having trouble locating the racist element in either? Believe me, I'm as far from being a racist as you can get.
