Following on from the "Moderator" thread, I thought it might be interesting to have people list their top 5 indie albums in a High Fidelity-style. Word of mouth is always the best way to find new music, eh?

Even after my post on the original thread, I found myself questioning my list, and I've actually revised it since last night. So, without further adieu:

    1. Mansun - Six
    2. Garbage - Version 2.0
    3. Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
    4. Nada Surf - High Low
    5. Interpol - Antics

Lets hope I stick to this one a bit longer...

Way too hard to do a top of all time, but ill give you my top 5 of the moment.

    1. Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous
    2. Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake It's Morning
    3. The Arcade Fire - Funeral
    4. Camera Obscura - Underachievers Please Try Harder
    5. Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlantism

I usually go through a phase of just listening to a certain bunch of albums religously, and at the moment these are them.

    Rilo kiley - more adventurous

    Amazing list there, Cremo!

Can't pick a Top 5.... i'd regret it 5 minutes later and constantly keep changing it! :D

I'd definantly have Counting Crows "August And Everything After" in there though! My absolute favourite album EVER!

yeh it's a really hard thing to do, i just picked them really as they had the most impact on me and they are all albums that you can listen to and be shocked at the fact that you've just listened to a whole album and that you didn't realise it.

they are also the sort of albums you could just pick up in any mood and listen to them.
