The Trump-Epstein files are being covered up, not only to protect the 🍊💩 but also his family,

Donald Trump Jnr's new handler... I mean "wife" (Bettina Anderson) is the daughter of Jeffrey Epstein's private banker and close personal friend, Harry Loy Anderson. Harry set up Epstein's tax status for his Virgin Island blackmailing/child sex prostitution operation.

Harry also once wrote a reference for Epstein, where he called him, "a gentleman of the highest integrity who enjoys an excellent reputation in our community".

Trump's wife was introduced to him by Ghislaine Maxwell, and now his son's wife is Epstein's personal banker's daughter. This family and his administration sure has a lot of connections to a guy Trump claims he hardly knew.

Edit: Rise of Christian Nationalism in the US and exported to the UK.

The Far Right mostly supports Israel but Nick Fuentes "Groypers" doesnt. Fuentes is more Catholic Integralism, whereas the pro Israel Christian Right are Evangelicals.

A recent study found an explosive growth of Groyperism among GOP youth.

Trump's best friend declaring war on Hezbollah again but there are also explosions on the coast of Iran right now and nobody is sure what the cause is yet. Could be the beginning of a big escalation.

I'm seen reports that IRGC attack boats were hit. Nothing yet on BBC etc let's see what happens.

NASA-ESA scientific cooperation is also being torched by the MAGA admin. They are playing silly games with NASAs funding, and a lot of what they want to cancel seems to be the US aspects of various joint missions that are years if not decades in the making. (From late last year…)

As have said before the US is going to find it much more difficult to persuade others to trust them and partner on many things post Trump and his clowns. It will find itself diminished, and weaker than it otherwise would have been, but I expect everyone else will be blamed for that sorry situation other than themselves!

Who is Mike? Can't stomach Fox News - CFT lickspittles the lot of them.

Yeah there was definitely strikes. CNN has a report.

Targeting these boats was probably a reaction to Iran recently capturing an Armoury ship when they launched a lot of small attack boats.

US bombing Iran in supposed self defence. Just how many miles away again is Iran from the US mainland.

BBC finally have an article on their front page.

This news was breaking hours ago from small relatively unknown channels I follow. The lack of MSM coverage for so long was making me doubt these sources but ultimately they were bang on the money.

This comes day after Iran has switched it's internet back on so more likely to see content uploaded by Iranians.

Trump calling Talarico, the Democrat Senate candidate, a "vegan" and saying "a vegan can't win in Texas". Talarico denies hes a vegan.

Shock as Democrat Colorado Governor pardons 2020 election denier and Bannon acolyte Tina Peters. She was convicted in Colorado state court on seven charges—four of which were felonies—relating to unauthorized access to election machines. She was subsequently sentenced to nine years of incarceration

Tina Marie Peters (born September 11, 1955) is an American politician who served as County Clerk of Mesa County, Colorado, from 2019 to 2023. In 2021, she was temporarily suspended by the Colorado Secretary of State, and was convicted of criminal charges related to efforts to overturn the 2020 election of Joe Biden as U.S. President. In August 2024, she was convicted in Colorado state court on seven charges—four of which were felonies[3]—relating to unauthorized access to election machines. She was subsequently sentenced to nine years of incarceration. On December 11, 2025, President Donald Trump claimed to have pardoned Peters—though that had no effect on her state convictions.[4] Following Trump's threats to withhold federal funding from Colorado, on May 15, 2026, Colorado Governor Jared Polis commuted Peters's sentence, making her eligible for parole as early as June 1, 2026.

Democrats worried about their candidates splitting the vote in the California Gubernatorial election Jungle primary. Under this system, the first two candidates proceed to the second round. There are about 5 or 6 Democrat candidates and only about 2 Republicans. Fears that no Democrats will make it through to Round 2.

here we go again. Peace talks at a critical stage and the US resumes bombing ( Israel never stopped bombing) and the talks are scuppered. The world economy is under stress on so many fronts and the US and Israel just keep their wars going because only their interests matter.

SCOTUS hearing on Alabama's request that it be allowed eliminate its Black majority district based on the Louisiana case.

Democrat side at court opposing this.

In 2023 (Allen vs Milligan), SCOTUS actually ruled that a previous attempt by Alabama to do this was unconstitutional dlution of the Black vote. If SCOTUS now overturns its own ruling just 3 years later, despite being the exact same judges that were on the court then, then it makes a mockery of their claims to be originalists.

The case in May 2026 referred to here and the video below is on developments in recent days.

Trump asked if the Arab leaders were still in a phone conference. This came after he shocked them by making Arab recognition of Israel a prerequisite for a peace deal with Iran, including opening the Strait of Hormuz.

So that's the height of his intellectual prowess? He can recognise his own son, the one he named after himself.

I do not care for this timeline.

Everything the US has done against Iran recently has only one aim - to distract from the Epstein Files!

    I had to google this:

The slogan “RINOs” stands for “Republican In Name Only” and has grown in popularity within the party as an insult aimed at those who disagree with Trump on key issues.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,914 ✭✭✭✭everlast75

It has been around for some time. The insult was levelled at Romney back in the day.

I have no doubt that Comeys legal team will have that post front and centre in their evidence pack , along with the countless other times Trump has publicly threatened people with violence on social media.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,914 ✭✭✭✭everlast75

Likewise, no criticism at all of yours.

The irony of him calling other people RINOs is that he is exactly that. He donated to Hillary, he was pro abortion etc. He just altered his views as he was a better fit for the Republican mentality.

The other irony is that there is no Republican party anymore. They have all left. All that is left is MAGA, a cult of personality, it's Trump's way or the highway.

I would disagree with the last bit of your post. This is the Republican party's true form. Decent people left a decade ago. All that's left is the Trump majority. GOP politicians and presidents would at least pretend to care about all Americans as they peddled their shock doctrine, gerrymandering, tax cuts, corporatism, religious fundamentalism and racism.

All Trump did was show them that the façade was unnecessary.

IMO it's not the left, nor the right. It's the culture. Just look at the arrogance oozing through that DNC analysis. They reflect their supporters.

America's been becoming this for generations. Education's a joke, inequality is absurd, and the upwards wealth transfer catastrophic. Lest we forget, HRC was (and is) the darling of the C suite. NAFTA, especially the expansion under WJC, was a disaster for America.

Trouble is, the Republicans can't govern their way out of a paper sack.

I think it's firmly on the right. Don't get me wrong, the Democrats are sh*t for all sorts of perfectly legitimate and logical reasons but they're not the same as the GOP.

I'd to google C suite. What was the issue with NAFTA?

I wonder, now that the Media and Social Media is largely concentrated in the hands of few, predominantly Republicans, is that jaded appearance of the Democrats and their message more to do with the algorithms and portrayals?

NAFTA led to the rise of exporting manufacturing. After the 2016 election, I remember listening to a panel featuring GWB speechwriter Peggy Noonan, who had written a thoughtful essay called, "The Rise of the Protected Class." She had the usual GOP grandees - George Will was there as I recall.

She asked, "What did Hilary Clinton have for an unemployed steelworker in Pittsburgh?"

They couldn't answer - because there was nothing to say. HRC might've said, at one point during the campaign, "We gave you Obamacare!" Well, Obamacare kind of sucks for other than protected class types who can keep their kids on their good company health insurance now till they're 26. Might've even be longer today.

Otherwise, as the SCOTUS said, it's a tax. Having been on it, it's not cheap, and all those monthly payments get you, is access.

So, why no public option? Because big-$$ donators to the DNC didn't want it.

And that steelworker? Go away racist deplorable. So they did, and voted for the absolutely worst candidate in recorded history. Because they're hurting and have for a long time. Their parents could raise 3 kids in a 3 bedroom house on 1 salary with Mom at home. Today? 2 very well compensated adults in an area with lots of jobs, can maybe afford a small digs and many are not having kids. That's where things are - and we've had decades of both parties in power.

I can go on with my unhappiness with today's Democratic Party. I never have, and never will, vote GOP except in the 2024 primary in my strongly blue state where I voted for Haley. I tell the MAGAts I trip over they wanted Trump - if they hadn't, they could've voted Haley like I did.

I hear this quoted lots of times. The US is the wealthiest economy the world has ever known. Its annual growth rates tend to be much better than almost any other country.

So while deals like NAFTA could have potentially been better in some aspects for the US, overall, the US continues to see the best returns across the globe and globalisation has been incredibly beneficial to them.

And whilst in the short term, having car plants move to Mexico seems bad, US manufacturing is never going to compete with poorer countries for the same reason Ireland is never going to compete with China.

Where the US has failed the vast majority of its people is that instead of the money made from the larger services etc sold across the globe to help maintain a semblance of balance between rich and poor, the rich have made out like bandits while the poorer have paid the price.

That isn't a problem with NAFTA, that is a problem with giving those at the very top continued tax breaks and corporate welfare while those who lost their jobs because of moving production overseas have been left with nothing.

There is more wealth in the US now than there was prior to NAFTA, so NAFTA isn't the problem. The only solution, if the rich are not prepared to pay more taxes, is to reduce all other costs such that a worker in the US can live off the wages that a worker in Mexico can survive. Not only would that require a collapse in the property market, including rent, but it would also have a major knock-on effect across all consumer goods as people won't be able to afford the prices being charged.
