it’s not just frustration. Almost daily we hear of peacekeepers being killed. Some of our own are in the firing line.

At this stage of the US/Israel wars I’m just asking….what is the point of this deployment anymore?

The 'most moral army in the world' ©all the zionist apologists, assissinating the guy who is providing a basic service to the people of Gaza. Israel owns the energy from the Sun as well as the rain water in Palestine.

Below is like reading old news of past two years, nothing has stemmed the Greater Israel onslaught...

A political analyst in Gaza: Ahmed al-Tanani says Israel has refused to withdraw its troops despite end of Phase I, and entering Phase II, as per ceasefire agreement.

    https://behorizon.org/a-turning-point-in-the-middle-east-the-strategic-stakes-of-the-gaza-peace-plan/

    Key Provisions in Phase I:

“Phase 1 – Immediate Ceasefire and Humanitarian Relief: Both sides agreed to an immediate cessation of all military operations. Within hours of the agreement, Israeli forces would withdraw to pre-defined lines inside Gaza and freeze in place. A complete halt to aerial and artillery strikes was mandated, with frontlines “frozen” to prevent any further advances. Hamas, in turn, committed that within 72 hours of Israel’s acceptance, all hostages – both living and deceased – would be released. Once the hostages were freed, Israel would release a large number of Palestinian prisoners as agreed. [...]. Concurrently, Phase 1 focused on alleviating Gaza’s humanitarian catastrophe. Full humanitarian aid flows were to resume into Gaza immediately upon the truce.

STARRY: REPORTER HALA AL SHAM SAID 'ACCORDING TO GAZA’S MEDIA OFFICE, LESS THAN 227 AID TRUCKS ARE ENTERING GAZA PER DAY ON AVERAGE. THAT’S ONLY 37% OF THE 600 DAILY MINIMUM ISRAEL AGREED TO IN THE CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT.' (Listen to Hala in below YouTube link)

Embedded interactive map ~~~ ‘Israel retains control of 58% of the Gaza Strip’ -

‘State of war’: Why Israel has escalated attacks in Gaza
“As Israel escalates military operations and targets local police, analysts warn that Donald Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’ and its Palestinian administrative committee have been stripped of their authority”

By Mohammad Mansour, 26 Apr 2026
    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/4/26/state-of-war-why-israel-has-escalated-attacks-in-gaza#:~:text=An%20'emptied'%20technocratic%20committee,quo%20of%20indefinite%20military%20occupation

“On the ground, the Israeli military has intensified its targeting of Palestinian police officers, recently acknowledging the killing of six officers it claimed were involved in planning imminent strikes. It provided no proof that they were planning to attack.

“However, Palestinian analysts argue the targeted strikes are part of a broader strategy to maintain a state of war and undermine the US-brokered agreement.

Ahmed al-Tanani, a political analyst in Gaza, said Israel is targeting police forces to eradicate any possibility of restoring stability and to push the enclave into internal chaos. “It wants to make it an unlivable environment, forcing residents to seek displacement, which serves the strategic goal of this war,” al-Tanani said. ⬅️

“Simultaneously, Israeli forces are advancing further into western Gaza and expanding the “yellow line” delineating areas under Israeli military control. Al-Tanani noted that Israel has added 37km (23 miles) to this eastern zone, meaning it now controls approximately 60 percent of the enclave, effectively partitioning Palestinian territory and severely restricting freedom of movement. ⬅️

Below Al Jazeera’s Hala Al Sham says:
“The UN estimates recovery will cost more than $71 billion over the next decade That is IF Israel allows the equipment for recovery and reconstruction into Gaza. Right now Israel is banning the entry of machinery and bulldozers into Gaza. “

‘Israeli 'ceasefire' violations on the rise in Gaza’

Hala Al Sham / Al Jazeera English:

“It’s been over 6 months since Gaza’s ceasefire agreement, which Israel has violated more than 2,400 times. Israel has killed at least 811 people, and injured 2,278 others.” ....

Hala Al Sham lambastes technocratic committee:

“The National Committee for the administration of Gaza, the technocratic committee formed under President Trump’s Board of ‘Peace’ has not done much on the ground. Palestinian observers have criticised the committee saying it only creates the appearance of Palestinian participation, while it’s really removing Palestinian political agency.”

    Critical infrastructure is Hamas:https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/apr/27/israeli-attacks-gaza-clean-water-shortage-crisis-disease-palestine

If this was being done to the Israelis those who are silent about this would be condemning it as a war crime.

German crackdown on criticism of Israel. Prominent authors who have criticised Benjamin Netanyahu targeted. Citizenship of critics of Israel has been revoked under the guise of fighting "anti semitism".

    Land grabbing again -

"Israel must not expand its construction of settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, the UN has said.

"Reported plans to expand Israeli settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan must stop," spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told reporters on Tuesday.

Israel approved on April 16 a five-year $334 million plan to develop illegal settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, according to Israeli media.

The plan, covering 2026-2030, allocates approximately 1 billion shekels ($334 million) to strengthen infrastructure and promote Israeli population growth in the occupied territory, The Times of Israel news portal reported."

    Gaza II in full swing.

Seems the IDF are being a little too honest (for a change).

There is no Hezbollah to fight - so scorched earth policy is all that's left. They're probably bored with lack of killing, looting and raping innocents.

Haaretz opinion piece by Yaniv Kubovich:

Soldiers in the field told Haaretz that much of what they do now isn't directly fighting Hezbollah, but systematically destroying buildings in villages in southern Lebanon.

"The only mission is to continue the destruction," one officer said. "There is no other mission."

The IDF believes this systematic destruction of Shi'ite villages will prevent villagers from returning home.

Another commander said that, contrary to the IDF's claim that the soldiers are destroying "terrorist infrastructure" in these villages, the destruction goes well beyond that.

This, again, is spoliation and is expressly forbidden by both the Hague and Geneva conventions. Of course Israel ignores Fourth Geneva Convention because of its intent for Gaza and the West Bank.

That country would do well to tread more carefully, because if someone does have a go at them in the future and they go running crying for help they might not get the response they're after.

There will be people who'll remember all of this.

The terror state still don't want aid getting to the people of Gaza. Monsters. Fair play to the activists on the latest Flotilla.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth house?

Somaliland refuses to facilitate ethnic cleansing. That country has such prime real estate, they should be very very fearful.

This must be the reason for all the IDF looting - they're not allowed to fight during a ceasefire…

Haaretz (free straplines by email if you subscribe)

"Because Hezbollah is operating from locations the IDF is not allowed to strike due to the cease-fire agreement, Israeli forces are fighting "with one hand tied behind their back," Bennett said, citing conversations he said he had with commanders and soldiers in recent days.

The former premier argued that despite international pressure, Israel's leadership must prioritize the safety of soldiers and civilians above all else, and "let the IDF win.""

Unsurprising attack on a Christian nun in Jerusalem.

Surprising though that the attacker was arrested and handcuffed.

Especially seeing as the anal rape of prisoners is seen as "heroic".

The video is pretty graphic and sickening. Though no more than any other video showing Israeli violence towards innocents.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 309 ✭✭StarryPlough01

The assailant returned to kick the prostrate nun in her ribcage. If that man hadn’t intervened, maybe the assailant would have continued to kick the nun, may be puncturing a lung... causing lifelong injuries. What a coward of a man attacking a defenceless woman from behind and then kicking the hell out of her.

The World is silencing any protests against ethnic cleansing while Israel assaults activists in international waters. Has there ever been a darker, more lawless, period since the western world declared itself civilised? Would there be any protests if Israel and the US launched missiles at Spain and the Vatican?

Seems I got my assumptions of why the IDF are looting, stealing and pillaging Lebanon. It's worse than I thought.

"Most moral army in the World" proves yet again that it is utterly lawless and completely without morals.

    Haaretz:

Soldiers serving in Lebanon today offer two explanations for the blight of looting there.

First, amid a deepening manpower shortage, commanders prefer to look the other way and resolve such incidents quietly, hoping reservists will agree to show up for yet another round of fighting.

Second, the destruction the IDF is inflicting on southern Lebanon is so sweeping that soldiers likely justify taking property by telling themselves it will be destroyed anyway"

    @wildgreen

Has there ever been a darker, more lawless, period since the western world declared itself civilised?

Not in my living memory. But Israel is perpetrating horrors last seen 80 years ago. The irony…

It's pretty shocking that whilst Starmer is expressing constant outrage at attacks on Jews (which is quite right) it just tumbleweed when the violence is perpetrated on others of different faiths.

    Utter hypocrisy.

But evidence shows the person who attacked that Nun - and could easily have killer her - will get nothing more than a slap on the wrist - if even that.

It does help for such incidents to go viral. While condemning the practice - Minister Ben-Gvir said it was an ‘ancient Jewish custom’ to spit when you pass near a monastery or a priest, and didn’t want to turn spitting on Christians into a crime.

Video of Christian pilgrims retracing the steps they believe Jesus walked while carrying his cross before his crucifixion (Via Dolorosa) getting spat on by ultra-orthodox Jews:

“Occupied East Jerusalem: Outrage over ultra-Orthodox Jews spitting at Christians”
Israeli forces have arrested five people suspected of spitting at Christian pilgrims, nuns and Church doors. The videos have gone viral on social media platforms, sparking condemnation from the government and religious leaders.”

The slow but steady ethnic cleansing of Arab East Jerusalem -

"For the first time since the 1967 occupation, Israel is expelling an entire Palestinian neighborhood in Jerusalem. The Silwan area, located near the "Holy Basin," the Temple Mount, and al-Aqsa Mosque, is home to many archaeological and historical sites of exceptional significance.

In Baten al-Hawa, from October 2015 to April 2026, 33 families were evicted – a total of 77 people, 37 of them children. Fifteen of them were evicted in March 2026. Now, another 53 families are facing expulsion – a total of 237 people, 130 of them children.

Many Palestinian families challenged eviction orders in court, but their petitions were dismissed in a series of rulings issued in late 2025, ordering 157 neighborhood residents to vacate their homes. In several cases, the evicted families were even ordered to pay the settlers tens of thousands of shekels in compensation. "

The past, the present, and the future

An Israeli lawmaker has called for the occupation of Gaza and the expulsion of its residents, describing it as the only way to achieve security in Israel.

Following a tour near the Gaza boundary on Sunday, Limor Son Har-Melech said in a post on X that “only conquest, expulsion, and settlement will restore security for the residents of Israel”.

“Regrettably, the State of Israel is still captive to a flawed conception. There is no alternative to conquest, expulsion, and settlement,” she wrote, adding: “Any other solution is unfeasible and will bring upon us the next massacre.

Starmer is absolutely vile, and he should be called out over this. He is a man of absolutely no principles. The Golders Green attacker seems to have been the work of a disturbed individual, rather than targeting Jews. He stabbed a muslim man first FFS, but this was not mentioned until well after the fact. Starmer know this I'm sure, but is using it as the basis to try and suppress criticism of Israel. Disgusting. Polanski should have come out even stronger, but of course he'd be crucified (no pun intended) by the British media if he did. See his interview with Trevor Philips the other day, which was a disgrace.

Of course he isn't. Pretty stupid question.

My point of hypocrisy is him calling out an attack on Jews (which now appears to simply being a disturbed individual who also attacked a Muslim) yet Starme is not calling out the landgrabbing, Genocide and war crimes in Gaza, Lebanon, Golan, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

    What's your point?

In fairness, He is the Prime Minister of the UK. Not Israel. He is calling out events that are happening in the country that he is responsible for. Not somewhere he is not responsible for. It's the primary duty of any government in the world to look after its own country and its own citizens first and foremost.

And it is not just one incident. There appears to be a continuing ongoing sequence of attacks on the Jewish community in his country, particularly in London. It was great to see the London Mayor, who just happens to also be Muslim, also very much calling this out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 6,321 ✭✭✭dmcdona

But as a senior player on the world stage, he has a responsibility. As signatories and a party State to both the ICC and ICJ, the UK needs to demonstrate their commitment. Starmer was very clear the the UK was not going to join in the illegal Iran war…

In fairness, he has called it out Israel before but has been very quiet of late.

I Agree, Starmer should be saying just because Israel is a genocidal despot of a country, led by criminals that is not a reason for UK people to attack UK Jews. That might help to stem these attacks. The UK has sanctions on illegal settlers but has spoken out against Israeli blockade of aide getting into Gaza, but it has a responsibility to the protection of palestine and needs to be more vocal.
