Salah must be quite a selfish individual,on 400k a week but still willing to blame everyone else only take responsibility himself for his poor form.

Sounds familiar.…except he has hell of alot more credit in the bank than our selfish individual.

This is what I’m expecting tomorrow night - we score first then we miss some serious chances and then they equalise.

The manager plays lots of the elite group of circus acts that he likes for example Ugarte, Zirkzee, Dalot, Maz, Heaven.

I do hope that I’m wrong and I do hope we turn up but nobody can guarantee either.

We should be beating Wolves. We should beat them comfortably.

I expect we’ll beat them comfortably.

Anything less than a comfortable win, and those knives will start being sharpened. Justifiably too.

A loss, and he’ll have to go. There are no excuses, none whatsoever, for failure to beat Wolves tomorrow. Wolves are utter crap this season, they are beyond poor.

I expect a comfortable win. Because there’s no other alternative.

Again same as last 2 weeks we'll bottle it.

Wolves getting their first win this season against us would be very ‘Man United under Amorim’.

I'd start Martinez tomorrow night with Shaw as wing back. Give him the first half and then move Shaw to LCB. Won't get a better chance to get some meaningful minutes into him.

I’d have no faith in us winning tomorrow night, I thought we were at OT until yesterday and I wasn’t even confident with that idea. Game stinks of Edwards getting their first win of the season.

I can’t see us not winning tomorrow.

Wolves are desperately poor, haven’t even scored a goal in their last 5 league games. It will be 3 points for United…but it will count for very little.

We are not making any progress under this coach and there is no discernible sign of improvement after 12 months.

I watched Aston Villa v Wolves at Villa park last week, Villa were absolutely blessed to beat them one nil at home.
What makes you think we should beat them comfortably away from home? Are we that much better than Villa in your opinion?

I think we’ll beat Wolves but I don’t expect it to be a walk in the park or to get anything easy off them.

    ”Should” ???? Why’s that??

Are you coming up with that on the back of our amazing form and constant beating of teams like Wolves?

People need to get real about our side, we can’t go on a run beating teams because we are not good enough and haven’t been.

Probably basing it off we've lost 1 in 8 and Wolves are bottom of the table with 2 points.

Everton was a shocker for sure but they are now 5th.

Its not that far fetched we'd beat the bottom of the table team who are on course for a worse record than Derby in the PL.

As I said, I think we will win but my point was about expectations really. Villa in third place and on a fantastic run of form struggled and were arguably very lucky to beat wolves at home. So I just thought it seemed odd to assume United will just sweep them aside easily, if a top team like Villa found it tough, why is it a given that United won’t?

I didnt reply to you sir, was to manc-red which was a bit ott imo.

My mistake, apologies, I agree with your post 👍

The best away team in the PL have just taken their chance to get into the top 4 and fair play to them.

It’s a must win tomorrow for us. Anything less is yet another chance missed to getting up that table.

Because for pretty much all of the season so far, Wolves have been very poor.

We haven’t been great, but we’ve been better than them.

That’s why we should beat them.

Totally agree that we should but that doesn’t mean that we will.

    Fingers crossed

I’ve no idea what will happen. United are predictably unpredictable. What I think may happen.. is a reaction from Thursday night and a better performance. A game which probably shouldn’t have needed a reaction to it — but here we are.

Wolves’ last home game they lost 1-0 to Forest. They had 1 shot on target. 7 league goals all season from twice the amount of games. 0 goals in the last 5 league games. They have lost the last 8 games in a row. 2 points on the board… it’s a team that is going down. This feels like it should be different to Everton & West Ham at home.We should be able to go there and get a win, just like Forest did. And Palace, Burnley, Leeds & Everton. Yes they have a new manager and probably won’t bend over and hand out 3 points as easy as they have done all season but surely with players like Bruno, Cunha, Mbeumo & Amad we should be able to win and keep a clean sheet, against a team who struggle to get goals.

“Should” doesn’t mean anything when it comes to this team at the moment.

No idea what will happen either but like yourself I’m also expecting a reaction to Thursday night and a better performance. Amorim was pissed off after the West Ham game and I expect he’ll have them very motivated for this one. Two nil United.

Would like to say 0-2 to United but I think we've kept 1 clean sheet this season so I'll say 1-2.

A loss to Wolves would be worse than Grimsby. While lacking quality Grimsby were a functional side. Wolves are just a clueless dysfunctional disaster.

    Watching Napoli v Juventus.

McTominay lording it at midfield and Rasmus just after scoring his second goal of the match and looking brilliant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,301 ✭✭✭Deise_2012

Italian league though, chalk and cheese. Lloyd Kelly playing centre back for Juventus like.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,526 ✭✭✭BenK

This team doesn't really do reactions. Should have enough to win you'd imagine but you couldn't be too confident in it. Honestly would not be one bit surprised if it's not a win.

Watched Fulham v Palace today…..was a decent game.Palace have a great spine down the middle in comparison to our own. While he may be obnoxious Dean Henderson is one of the best keepers in the division this Season……Guehi and Lacroix are a solid pairing,Wharton and Kamada mix grit and skill and Mateta (who we should have gone for last Summer) is such a handful.

It’s quite doubtful if we will realistically be in the race to sign Wharton but for a 21 year old,he gave a masterful display in midfield today, gave two sumptious passes to help set up first goal.

He reminds me a lot of a young Michael Carrick.

Apparently City,Liverpool and Chelsea are all in for him and Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on him.

For me he’s is currently a more rounded midfielder than Anderson and has a higher ceiling to develop to.

But if you were him would you bypass the other teams I mentioned to join Utd?….. with our hotpotch squad with gaps all over the place and likely uncertainty over the Managers position next Summer…..🤷‍♂️

    🙏 take the chance Adam!😊

To be fair Hojlund was 8 game without a goal and statistically the worst player on the pitch in just about all of them. Some horrid performances from him by the looks of it. I believe Napoli fans were looking if there was any chance they could send him back to us.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 496 ✭✭kyleman

To be fair this was the first full match I watched him in since he left us so can’t comment on previous matches.

He looked so full of confidence and only for an unbelievable save by Juventus keeper he would have had his hat-trick in a clash against another top of the table rival.

I watched that, Juve are really average though, Bournemouth would finish ahead of them

Just had a look at the Serie A table, poor old De Gea having a rough time. Rock bottom after 14 games, no wins, -13 goal difference.

Fiorentina a long way from the glory days of Batistuta it seems.
