more dreary dull wet slop again in the south east. Seem to get some very bright sunny days then these awful dark dreary ones like today. Be dark at 4.30pm.
I think it’s safe to assume that the water tables are well back to normal levels after a relatively dry summer and things will average out again rainfall wise for the year

Good riddance to Autumn, with rainfall at Casement 20% above normal despite a drier than average October. Already at 103% the annual LTA rainfall too, with all of December remaining. I'm sure other areas are even worse off.

My roof has had an ongoing leak for months now, and it has been a nightmare to get a dry day when roofers were available and happy with weather conditions. Finally fixed on Nov 23rd after many cancellations due to rain after a delay since mid-August! I did enjoy a cold, dry evening at Wild Lights last Saturday, though, so I'm thankful it was dry when it mattered for me in the end.

Dreadful autumn in Cork too, 488mm at Cork Airport, 140% of average (An already low bar).
