    All fair and valid points. I suppose some of the main alterations to junctions certainly at Bakers are the removal of slip roads. As far as I understand this seems to be national policy. Slips roads are percieved as dangerous (rightly or wrongly) for pedestrians as cars dont really have to slow down much to swing left. Forcing them to go to the junction to make a "hard" left will certainly slow things down but far safer for pedestrians. The junction at Honey Park/Glenageary road looks to be designed in the same way.
