    Just heard the terrible news that Ger Hickey has passed away

    Ger was an absolute gent of a man and a true ambassador for the sport. I spent many a weekend on the firing line him over the years and it will be a ln everlasting regret I didn't get to talk to him one more time more recently.

    My sincerest condolences and sympathies go to his family and loved ones.

    Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
