It's from a time when "the woman" was shackled to the sink cleaning up after the thirteen childer.

Wouldn't even notice where the sink was. Dishwashers are way more common these days anyway than washing at the sink.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

More of a pain in the arse to wash the window as well.

Drivers at a red light who are constantly rolling forward ever so slowly, so by the time it turns greem, the car is halfway past the lights. Just press the brake ffs. And then they're usually slow to start off when it does go green.

Mine doesn't. And that's a bit of a trivial annoyance. Growing up, the kitchen sink was at the window but in the late 80's, for some reason my mother redesigned the kitchen so the sink is at the left wall.

10 years later, my family moved out and I bought the house from them, but it is only recently that the position of the sink has started annoying me. I must ask her why she changed it…

Light has a lot to do with placing the sink in front of a window. Also, it is easier to plumb if on an outside wall. Kitchen designers tend to have little imagination so opt for the tried and tested. I hate it as the window gets so splashed. I have it to one side with good lighting over.

Anyhow I spend little time at the sink as I use the dishwasher and prepare vegetables straight out of the garden at my outdoor garden sink! Utility room sink is also away from the window.

Mood music which aggressively dominates the sound in films, most particularly in television series, to the extent that it makes it difficult to hear the dialogue or commentary.

Works better with kitchen window “blinds” Jason Byrne explained it well @1:34

Which I suppose is a trivial annoyance. Having to admit - I enjoyed that skit from that eejit.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Earlier my Dad went to his local high street bank branch asking for advice and was told by the clerk that she couldn’t help, he could only call a phone number or log onto his online account.

Went home, phoned at 2.35pm. At 3.25pm was still on hold, 50 minutes later, waiting.
What’s the point of a banking regulator if they are happy to oversee 90% of the banking tasks ninjad from branches to the internet ?…when a person needs to speak to someone they refuse to help them in person and then there is nobody to answer the phone. Regulator is meant to be for the public interest, not banks.

Update : on hold 65 minutes, then he hung up. Madness, cünts.

Peeling a hard boiled egg that doesn't want to peel. Each piece of shell rips out a lump of egg until you have half of what you started with.

When we had a lot of chickens I used to make pickled eggs. I've tried all the tricks and tips you can find on youtube but the fact is if the eggs are really fresh then they are a pig to peel.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is a bit of a trivial annoyance. Have the day off work and have a bunch of stuff to do…I will need to get my Waders on.

TA that tomorrow morning I have to do something that will feel a bit humiliating and torturous tomorrow but it has to be done. I will leave my dignity behind and hope for the best

Sometimes it's okay for women to admit that they're wrong. 😉

(And I apologise if what you're trivially annoyed/nervous about is serious.😶)

Unless you're turning chugger for the day, your dignity should be intact, Miamee. 😁

(but I understand the "ick/ugh" feeling you get, and I sympathise.)

My docs surgery website. Clunky as fük. 6 years ago, a pop up..‘ NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON ‘..

6 years later, same website, same pop up. Which after trying to ‘X’ out of about 15 times over 25 seconds, only then decides to let you continue and use the site…I don’t know who they’ve contracted to do the new site but they ought to pay them a visit to check their pulse. I’m no expert but 6 years sounds a little on the long side for designing and launching a website for a local business, that is informative over interactive..

    Several things about YouTube:

Videos that are basically AI-generated content accompanied by AI-generated video narrated by AI-generated speech. Always gets a dislike from me. It would earn an autoblock too - if it was possible to block…

FaceCam: Hearing a creators voice is fine - what I don't need to see is their face, often obsuring a critical bit of the screen. It adds nothing, but I suspect says a lot about the ego of the creator.

Too much commentary: E.g. "Politician makes huge faux pas" video which contains maybe 2 minutes of actual footage and another 18 minutes of pre and post commentary. 20 minutes seems to be what they're aiming for when padding out. I'd rather they just gave me a quick 30-second into and maybe another quick 30-second outro, adding text to the footage if necessary for further information, instead of what appears to be trying to make themselves media stars.

When a man tells you he'll do something, there's no need to remind him every 6 years. 😜

Lifesaver in my family, pet mats (which can be put in the fridge) put under your surface bedding, aldi/lidl/woodies/pet stores have them usually. Some find it ok to lie on without bed clothes.

Yesterday I tidied up some wire mesh that I use for making chicken runs. In the process I managed to jamb the cut end of one piece of wire into the tip of my right index finger. TAed and painful.

But thats not the end of the story. This morning I went to write a shopping list and of course the painful bit is exactly where my index finger holds the pen and my writing is unreadable (it was never great).

Wake me up when it's all over.

Sympathy! I've had one of those 'something got under a fingernail and pushed the nail away from the nailbed' things under one finger for the last couple of days. Its a real nuisance.

I use Facebook and I don't know why. There are so many pages now just dumping AI slop images. In theory, it'd be easy enough to avoid. I saw a post related to Irish people in the UK and it was just another AI slop image. I know it's been crap for ages but somehow they've made it even worse. I don't use any other social media and ideally I'd stop but my friends tend to use it to plan trips so that won't happen.
