Has anyone had issues with Royal Mail?

I had a drivers license sent from the DVLA to my home and it went missing in the post. The week before, a parcel from Ebay containing a motorcycle part also went missing. I've been in contact with both organizations/people and they said they were sent. This was over a month ago. DVLA had to issue a new license and ebay are issuing a refund due to the theft.
Has anyone had this problem? I encountered some low lives in the past but Royal Mail are some of the lowest I have met.

You have some serious amount of bad luck with companies it seems or is this another nonsense thread?
