Obtaining dual cpc card ?

Hi guys so i passed my cpc walk around for the bus on the 4th of september. i already hold a full bus licence and rigid truck licence. I also hold a cpc card for the truck and filled in this for under query. What do i need to provide them ? Do i just wait for the cpc card ? has anyone gone trough the process for adding a truck or bus category to their existing cpc card ? any advice would be appreciated.

If you hold a full bus&truck licence why would you do the CPC walk around test?

because i had the truck cpc but not the bus one. done the bus didnt need the cpc at the time so just went back and done it.

Ah right like myself have the bus licence but didn’t have to do the CPC walk-around check. As i was driving for the back up emergency services at the time.

When is your CPC card up for renewal? When i had to apply for mine after 10 years having done any CPC for the artics.

I ticked the box for the bus and had the RSA call me saying that due to me having not completed the walk-around checks i wasn't entitled to the bus CPC. You could always give them a call and see will they add the categories for free, As they charge €50 for a lost/damaged card so not sure if they would add the category for free. Or just wait till the CPC card expires.

right so i have a truck cpc card for a year had to sit cpc refresher back in april to keep qualified. Applied for the bus one trought the form above and apparently its in production and should have it 7 to 10 working days. So i will now have dual cpc but i want to drive buses.

Yep the card should have you marked up for both, They seem to be getting their act together. When my driving licence was up in 2023 i had the pink paper licence one. And the slip they give you for passing the test for the bus. I didn't even need to produce that they automatically added it to the licence.

neat thats all the cpc stuff done so. might do the artic licence at some point and that will be my licence complete too.
