    Aaw noooo 😔

    Farewell the Prince Of Darkness.

    A life well lived.

And just over a fortnight since Sabbath’s final show.

    RIP.

It goes without saying to play these as loud as possible…

Ozzy tribute right now on MTV Music thru the night (Sky Channel 350).

Not just the music videos, or - God help us - ‘The Osbournes’ TV series, but filmed just-for-MTV stuff (‘End Of The Beginning’ with Tommy Clutefos on drums).

As expected, a slight schedule change to Sky Arts on Friday.

    10pm God Bless Ozzy Osbourne

11.45pm Classic Albums: Black Sabbath - Paranoid

It's down in the listings for Sky Documentaries Saturday & Sunday at 9pm but I've noticed sometimes these HBO music documentaries don't actually get shown in ROI. So just watch out for that.

Billy Joel - And So It Goes. A 5 hour candid look at his highs and lows, music and personal life.

    Never heard about Oscar Wilde
    Don't know about Brendan Behan
    Know anything about Sean O'Casey
Or care about George Bernard Shaw
    Or Samuel Beckett
    Won't talk about Eugene O'Neill
He won't talk about Edna O'Brien
Or know anything about Lawrence Stern

    😎

    Don't turn around
I won't have to look at you
    And what's not found
Is all that I see in you
    My manners are failing me
    I'm left feeling ugly
    And you say it's wonderful
To live with I never will

So what if this Party Fears Two?
The alcohol loves you while turning you blue
    View it from here
    From closer to near…

    AWAKE ME!!

    🙂

It's got to be up there.

The whole period from 79 to 84 was a much needed recovery from the 70s.

The BBC has confirmed that its "inspiring" Ozzy Osbourne documentary will no longer air tonight as planned.

It was announced earlier this month that the documentary film about the late rockstar would be released on Monday 18th August, but it has now been pulled from the schedules entirely for the time being.

A spokesperson for the BBC told RadioTimes.com: "The film has moved in the schedules and we'll confirm new TX details in due course"

Wonder why? Was it too soon after Ozzys death, for the family?

The BBC being very short of Reading/Leeds Festival coverage this year.

The only thing I could find was ‘Bring Me The Horizon@Reading’ on Saturday night, 11.55pm on BBC One.

Just spotted - Chappell Roan at Reading, tonight on BBC One at 10.40pm.

why don’t they cover it like the way they do Glastonbury? Assume it’s licensing etc? Rte tried to cover EP many years ago but it seemed to drop off then. Assume it was for the same licensing reasons.

Great set from Chappell Roan from Reading.

A nice primer for Electric Picnic - shame that RTE don’t feel the need to show it! 😁

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 78,829 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

The only TV coverage I can see for Electric Picnic is on TG4, Sunday night at 9.30pm.
