The official Christmas FM thread

Have to admit, I have turned on Christmas FM a couple of times in the last few weeks when I've had the office space to myself. Classical is great for leaving on in the background as it's not in your face Christmas music and there's no ads, talking or news to interupt one song after another. Can't help switching over to normal Christmas FM as well just to see what comes up and sometimes you get a good surprise.

Christmas FM Classics is not great at all though (am I in trouble for saying this?) :)

It's nearly only 29 weeks to go now.

I'm not the best singer but gonna try sing the Christmas song I co wrote with a pal a few years ago and hope to record it and a christmassy vid probably in the summer just like Slade ;-) If we got played on Christmas FM, well, that'd be the icing on the cake!

May think of a way to put some bells onto the song. You have to have bells on a Christmas song ;-)

Thanks for the encouragement, folks. That's exactly what I was saying - let's enter it into the Christmas FM competition. We've actually got a load of Christmas songs but this is the only one I co wrote. I'm going to try it, need to practice a lot and if I can't sing it well enough I'll move over for someone else but either way we're hoping to do it in time for the competition! I think if I want to sing one song in my life it'd have to be a Christmas song so here's hoping :-)
