Group consensus is for a very warm month with some serious heat developing, relatively dry although few are going very low for rainfall (lowest forecast is 69%) and just a little extra sunshine, here again the highest forecast being 130%.

The range of bonus predictions is not extreme either, the consensus being that really torrential downpours in the 20-30 mm range as can occur in summer thunderstorms are going to be largely absent or at least will miss the grid of met.ie rain gauges.

Yes, and that stat increased from my first report to 4.0 mm (Markree) on 2nd and so far 4.1 mm today at Malin.

So there are 16 different forecasts plus NormaL for 17; that reduces by one if I lump together 9.9 and 10.0.

For scoring, I would probably join 12.8 to 13.2, 12.2 and 12.5, and 11.3 and 11.5, which then gives eleven different scoring groups (good for zero to ten points) but that may not work for the actual differentials if the result is within the spectrum of our forecasts. If it stays lower or leaps past 18.0 then it would work easily.
